A mother had to be rescued by firefighters who cut her out of a baby swing after she was trapped for an hour.

Leala Vanbest, 22, enjoyed a fun day out at her local park in Southend, Essex, on Thursday with her daughter and some friends.

However, after she decided to get into a child’s swing for about ten minutes, she soon realized that she couldn’t get out.

After she tried to wriggle herself out, some friends and strangers tried to help.

Then three firefighters luckily came to her rescue and cut her out of the small swing seat.

Other kids playing in the park can run around the area before the firefighters drill through the chair.

The firefighters also explain that their approach was to slowly remove small pieces to avoid potential accidents.

Once they untie the chair and the mother finally slips out, a loud cheer can be heard from people nearby.

One of her friends can also be heard saying, “It’ll all be on Facebook later… I bet you’ll regret that, won’t you?”
