Still sporting their signature dark brown locks, the actresses have flawless, radiant skin and perfectly defined features.

The twins first arrived on Ramsay Street as Christina (Gayle) and Caroline (Gillian) Alessi in 1990 under the guise of ‘Linda Giles’, the identity both women shared in Witness Protection after witnessing a murder.

However, it wasn’t long before the truth was revealed in true soap opera style, and soon Christina and Caroline made their mark, with Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) capturing the attention of both women.

Gillian bowed out of the soap in May 1992, with her twin sister Gayle a few months later.

After leaving the show, they headed to the UK in an attempt to simulate the success of Australian sweetheart Kylie Minogue, but were unsuccessful.

As of mid-2017, the couple lived with their families in Los Angeles, where they worked in business, founding companies and building brands.

In 2019, the duo returned to Ramsay Street to reprise their roles, 27 years after they were last seen on screen.

Speak against Ten daily Prior to their return, Gayle gushed about the new storyline set up for them in Ramsay Street.

“We knew that if they wanted to reprise the characters after almost 30 years, it had to be for a great storyline — and it is,” she told the publication.

“We’re really looking forward to filming it,” added Gayle.
