Two men are fighting for their lives and a woman has been rushed to hospital after being shot in their car.

The trio were in two parked cars before they were gunned down at 2.15am on Mayvic Street in Greenacre, Sydney’s southwest, at 2.15am on Sunday.

Emergency services arrived at the scene with a 25-year-old man found injured in one car and a 22-year-old man and 19-year-old woman in the other.

NSW Police believe the attack was targeted in the early morning.

The condition of both men is critical and the woman’s condition is stable as they continue to be treated at the hospital.

Residents found that a nearby vehicle on Amy Street in Regents Park had been set on fire five minutes after the shooting.

Detectives cordoned off a crime scene and launched an investigation.
