Jamie Foxx detailed his recovery three months after being hospitalized for an unspecified ‘medical complication’.

After returning to work earlier in the day to film a commercial in Las Vegas, the 55-year-old actor shared a candid video about his health, letting fans know he’s not “blind” or “paralyzed.”

“I think because of something I never thought I would experience. I know a lot of people [were] wait or want to hear an update, but to be honest, I didn’t want you to think of me as that guy,” he admitted while looking emotional.

He continued, “I want you to see me laughing, having fun, partying, joking, making a movie, [or] a television show,” he explained. “I didn’t want you to see me with the tubes running out of me trying to figure out if I’d make it.

In addition, one child’s father said he went through “hell and back” and that his “road to recovery” had some potholes.”

“But I’ll be back and I can work,” he said delightedly. “I just want to say I love everyone and I love all the love I got.”

The Academy Award winner choked as he reflected on the support of his loved ones and fans, confessing that people occasionally “burst” him with gratitude.

Foxx then started smiling as he urged his followers to remember him for the jokes he makes, his movies and songs.

The performer concluded the message by saying, “I’m on my way back.”

Foxx captioned the video: “Thank you a billion to everyone… it’s been a long road but all the prayers, wonderful people and God, got me through it.”

Within 30 minutes, he received over 59,152 likes and hundreds of messages from his celebrity friends, including LL Cool J, who commented, “@iamjamiefoxx so glad to see you back my brother.”
