A nine-year-old girl has been found by the police after being robbed off the street by a stranger.
The child was walking with friends to school in Warnbro, south Perth, when the man picked her up at 8:45 am.
Officers rushed to the crime scene when they were notified of the incident – and found the girl outside a supermarket in Port Kennedy not far from the area a short time later.
A nine-year-old girl was abducted by a stranger on Friday morning in the streets of Warnbo, south of Perth.
A man in his thirties is held in police custody.
He assists the police in the investigation.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
