Emmerdale’s Bernice comes VERY close to discovering Liam’s steamy affair with Wendy – and fans are all saying the same thing

Emmerdale fans have tipped Bernice (Samantha Giles) to discover Liam’s steamy affair, after she discovered a secret letter from his mistress on Thursday’s show.

Liam (Jonny McPherson) and Wendy’s (Susan Cookson) affair is dangerously close to being revealed, after a close call earlier in the episode saw the pair nearly caught in bed together.

But as the pair arrange secret encounters and enjoy moments of passion on the soap opera, the drama is about to unfold.

Liam and Wendy were seen in bed until Bernice made an announced appearance at the B&B where they were staying.

In shock with where to go and what to do, Liam decided to hide under the bed, while Wendy pretended to fall asleep.

She saw on a 50th birthday card from Liam that it was his handwriting on the secret love letter.

Later this week, their secret is about to be revealed when Liam surprises his sweetheart Wendy with a night away. She feels guilty as she calls Bob to let him know she is going on a trip.

Fed up with what’s going on behind his back, Bob is soon stunned when Bernice reveals that Wendy and Liam are having an affair, but Bob refuses to believe Bernice’s bombshell.

While Bernice wishes she could make things better for Bob – at the hotel, Liam is devastated when Wendy says she wants to end the affair.
