Princess Kate confuses fans during Wimbledon ball boy meet and greet
Kate Middleton left fans confused at Wimbledon this weekend as she greeted ball boys and girls at Wimbledon.
The Princess of Wales, patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, entered center court before presenting new men’s champion Carlos Alcaraz with his trophy.
But eagle-eyed fans saw a bizarre move for the future queen.
While on her way to meet the lineup of ball boys, Her Royal Highness seemed to skip the first entirely, only shaking hands with the second in line.
A clip of the interaction was posted to Twitter, with one person wondering if it was normal.

However, some argued that the princess was simply saving time and that it was the norm not to shake every hand.
“Maybe she met him at the entrance and doesn’t need to greet him anymore?” said one.
“Maybe she shook his hand before? Not everything happens on camera,” added another.
