The former TV presenter, 47, was the face of ITV2’s reality show from 2013 to 2018, before the show was axed.

And the fans’ favorite reality show will now return to our screens after a five-year absence.

Emma told The Sun’s TV Mag that she was “happy as a pig in manure” after the news.

The celebrity presenter said she played a key role in defending AJ from the start because she “loves her” and is a very “dear friend” and strongly believes she will do a “phenomenal job” if future presenter.

“And I’m really looking forward to a new era with her — and Will Best, we can’t forget about Will Best,” she added.

While it was hard to leave the show after five years in a row, Emma admitted that she has no regrets about the past.

“I think with every new dawn there has to be someone else at the helm,” she said.

“It’s one of those things that whenever I talk about it, or when I come across a picture from the very last episode, from the last series, and it was like, oh my god, being there in that crowd with those fans who love as much of it as I do and on that stage with the crew, who we’ve worked on it together for so many years, you’re like, ‘Oh god, that was great.’

The former host has also said she is very excited and “looking forward” to seeing her dear friend AJ when the reality show airs in October.

It has also been revealed that another familiar face will be back in the reality show.

Marcus Bentley, the infamous narrator, is also returning – having been on the show from the very beginning.

It comes after Emma and her husband Matt Willis revealed that their 15-year marriage is stronger than ever after overcoming “rocks” throughout their relationship.

The pair joined Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid on Thursday’s Good Morning Britain where they had discussed an upcoming charity tour, but the talk soon turned to their marriage.

And after being asked what the secret behind their long-term union was, Emma joked, “We still like each other, which helps!”
