It is said that there is no greater bond between a person and their pet, and this is proven by some of the biggest stars in the world.

No stranger to splashing snaps of their pets on social media, it seems some stars love their furry friends so much, they bear a hilarious resemblance to them.

Names like Henry Cavill, Reese Witherspoon, and Taylor Swift regularly share photos of their pets online, some of which show off their funny similarities.

Many stars love to share the close bond they share with their animals, as they provide welcome solace in their busy schedules.

But which stars are most like their furry friends? MailOnline has a list of the best names and their pet friends…

Taylor Swift

Every Swiftie knows that Taylor is a proud cat parent to three felines: Benjamin Button, Meredith Gray, and Olivia Benson.

The star named her pets after her favorite TV characters, Olivia Benson from Law and Order: SVU, Meredith Gray from Grey’s Anatomy, and Benjamin Button from the movie of the same name.

Thanks to her blonde locks, the singer bears some resemblance to her trio of pets and admitted in 2014 that she is a proud “cat lady.”

In an interview she said: ‘[I talked with] friends about it and before I got the second cat. I was really kind of recruiting everyone I knew and saying, ‘Is cats… cat lady?

“Or, you know, two cats are cats and there’s more than one?” she explained. And they say, “No, three cats is a cat lady.” Two cats is a party.”

Taylor’s cat Olivia is also one of the richest pets in show business, according to the Pet Rich List, her net worth is $100 million.

Henry Cavill

The Witcher star Henry has previously shared snaps of his beloved Akita Kal, describing him as his best friend who has “saved his emotional and psychological bacon many times over.”

The Superman star appeared on Lorraine taking in the American Akita breed and spoke of their “inseparable bond.”

He said, “He really is my best friend, we go everywhere together.”

He continued, “He is now eight and he has often spared me emotionally and psychologically. We have an incredibly close bond.”

‘He [Kal] understand it a bit. He’ll feel it when I have my own stuff on, he’ll be close — he’s close almost all the time, but he’ll be closer.”

Nicole Kidman

In 2019, Nicole revealed that she became a dog owner for the first time after adopting an adorable poodle named Julian.

His sweet red curly hair bears a sweet resemblance to Nicole’s auburn locks that she has worn throughout her career.

Her husband Keith Urban gushed about the new addition in an interview on iHeartRadio, saying, “We’ve got a dog! [Nicole’s] very first dog, ever! I’ve had dogs all my life, but never something this small. He’s a big hit!’

Of course, Nicole is no stranger to animal husbandry, having revealed in the past that she had three cats growing up in Australia, named Priscilla, Chauncy and Gregory.

Reese Witherspoon

Oscar winner Reese is one of Hollywood’s biggest dog owners and regularly fills her Instagram with sweet snaps of her four-legged friends.

She has four puppies: Labrador Hank, American bulldog Lou, French bulldog Minnie Pearl and black Labrador Major.

In addition to her recently shared post, the founder of Draper James has always proven herself to be an avid animal lover with several dog photos gracing her social media feeds.

The star also has a habit of naming her pets after famous stars, and previously had a pet named after Frank Sinatra.

Unfortunately, Reese lost her beloved Frenchie Pepper in October 2020 by posting a sweet tribute to him on Instagram.

Kendall Jenner

Model Kendall has regularly shared photos of her Doberman, Pinscher Pyro, and he even became a regular in one of her fashion shoots, when she posed for Burberry in 2021.

Jenner and Pyro have been practically inseparable since she introduced him to fans in May 2018.

In 2020, Kendall faced backlash from other pet owners for seemingly using a “painful” pronged collar on her dog.

Furious Twitter users claimed the collar is “painful” for dogs, accusing Kendall of being “rude” and “cruel” for letting her pet wear one.

It was unclear if Kendall tried other training methods before settling down this way, but angry Twitter users were quick to accuse her of inhumane treatment.

In 2018, TMZ reported that the dog allegedly bit a little girl at a restaurant. There were no apparent stab wounds, but police were called to the scene.

A source close to Kendall denied this, telling TMZ that the dog never made contact with the girl.

Zendaya

Zendaya is the proud owner of a black Miniature Schnauzer named Noon, with his dark locks that resemble her own glossy locks.

Like many other celebrities, the Spiderman star regularly posts pictures of the dog, who has his own Instagram account, and even shares the moment he had the courage to step into the pool for the first time.

She wrote, “Anyone who knows Noon knows he doesn’t mess with the pool (so proud mommy moment) he took the first step all by himself.”

Zendaya received her black miniature schnauzer as a gift in 2015.

She has also been spotted on a dog walk with her boyfriend Tom Holland and his parents’ pets in West London.

In 2022, it was reported that the couple had adopted a pit bull named Pistachio.
