Lizzo calls beau Myke Wright her “favorite artist” in gushing post
While Lizzo and Myke Wright were first romantically linked in March 2021, they only became Instagram official last February.
Now, some five months later, the pop star seems a bit more comfortable going public with their relationship by posting a photo of the couple cuddling together on her Instagram page.
And the Cuz I Love You star used the sweet wink to promote her beau’s latest musical release, titled Moxie.
“Selfie with my favorite artist,” Lizzo (born Melissa Viviane Jefferson), 35, shared in the caption, before urging her 13.
5 million fans and followers to “stream Moxie.”
Shot from the chest up, the selfie shows the Detroit native wearing nothing but a plunging pink bra and a headband around her hairline, flashing a look of pure contentment.

Lizzo, who is currently on tour, is pictured with blonde and light brown locks that fall long and straight down her back, parted in the middle.
Wright, 36, can be seen shirtless, leaning against his wife as the sun streaming in through a window illuminates part of the right side of his face, arm and chest.
The musician, actor and stand-up comedian has styled his raven-black locks into thin long braids, covering parts of his right shoulder, and a middle part.
With a well-groomed beard and mustache, Wright also looks relaxed and content at the time of the photo.
For the second half of the Instagram post, Lizzo continued her promotional push of Wright’s new album, Moxie, by sharing the definition of the word, which is described as a “strength of character, determination, or guts.”
A few days earlier, Wright took to his Instagram page and explained how he came to call this project Moxie.
“I became obsessed with the word last year (happens a lot),” he shared in the caption, alongside a photoshopped photo of former US President Bill Clinton holding the Moxie vinyl album.
“It accurately summed up how we all need to work up the courage every day to present ourselves truthfully to the world. Especially for me, overcoming the illusion of perfection and enjoying the ride,” he said of his thought process.✨

For the songwriting process for Moxie, Wright said he would create one song, aiming to “make the next song sound nothing like its predecessor”.

In June 2022, the two made their first public debut at an event for Lizzo’s Amazon Prime Video show, Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.
And then, last December, Lizzo came out and declared her love for Wright during a performance on The Howard Stern Show.
At one point during the interview, Stern asked about her love life, and if she and Wright are exclusive that would-be daters shouldn’t waste their time trying to woo her.
“Listen, don’t waste your time honey, I’m very much in love and Myke,” she told Stern, adding that she’s “absolutely” in love, “100 percent.”
Explaining how she has always put her career first, the Goos As Hell star further revealed that she and Wright resorted to just friendship in the past.
“I had a lot to do, and I was still very much on my ‘I don’t feel loved,’ and I still wasn’t where I wanted to be career,” she said of their former platonic relationship.

‘Of [Wright] it was different because when you love something and you let it go and when it’s meant to be, it comes back to you. And we both let it go because we both had a lot to do in our lives,” she explained.
“And when the time was right, we got together and we were like, ‘Us together the other day.’ This is official because I’m very traditional about certain things. We need to have the talk. It needs to be discussed.’
She further clarified that neither ‘plays games with each other anymore; we are very locked up.’
When asked if she thought the romance was headed towards marriage and kids, Lizzo announced, “There’s no one else I’m going to be with for the rest of my life,” just as she burst into laughter.
