‘Hello Princess!’ Cute moment Kate was greeted sweetly by a young fan during the Wimbledon outing
She’s been called the Child Princess — and in this heartwarming moment, Kate proved exactly why she’s affectionately nicknamed.
The 41-year-old Princess of Wales was greeted sweetly by a young fan on her outing to Wimbledon last Tuesday – and she responded just as kindly.
In a clip posted on Instagramcaptioned, “The most beautiful princess,” the mother of three is filmed walking past a little boy.
To attract the attention of the royal family, the youngster softly shouts, “Hello Princess,” to which Kate immediately stops and waves before walking over.
‘What’s your name?’ she asks the suddenly shy child, adding, “Did you have a nice day?”

She then turns her attention to the little boy’s toy held in his hands and asks, “What is this?” Very cool. I like that.’
Before leaving the area, a beaming Kate, who was bent over so she was at eye level, adds, “Nice to meet you.”
The princess – who has been a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club since 2016 – looked elegant as she arrived in a pretty pleated white skirt and £1,950 mint green Balmain blazer.
For Tuesday’s event, she wore her hair in loose waves over her shoulders and opted for neutral make-up, with a touch of eyeliner and a touch of rouge.
Meanwhile, she kept her jewelery simple, with a pearl bracelet and £72 Chunky Knot Baroque Pearl Earrings from Shyla.
Kate’s choice of Balmain for her outfit marked the first appearance of the royal on the French label. Celebrity fans of the fashion house include Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian.

Meanwhile, Balmain’s creative director previously said he would love dressing Kate’s sister-in-law Meghan Markle, describing her as “confident, sexy and respectful.”
When play began on Center Court, Kate was seated in the Royal Box, where she was greeted with a standing ovation.
During the outing, Kate showed kindness as she welcomed her close friend Roger Federer to a special ceremony at Wimbledon.
She was one of those who applauded enthusiastically when Federer, 41, was honored for his great sporting achievements on Center Court after he retired last year.

A patron and sports fan of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the Princess of Wales is a regular at the Royal Box and has developed a strong relationship with the eight-time Wimbledon winner.
She even broke royal protocol in 2017, planting three kisses on his cheeks as she congratulated the sportsman on winning the tournament for the eighth time, while the Prince of Wales and Federer’s wife Mirka looked on.
The playful friendship extends beyond the court, with Kate and Roger working on several projects together and both starring in a video about the work of ball boys and girls at the end of June, where the tennis royal put the tennis star to the test.
