This is the shocking moment when a Russian soldier viciously kicked and punched a woman as she crouched on the ground after she shouted “Glory to Ukraine” on his return from war.
Video shows the woman, a neighbor, greeting one of Vladimir Putin’s men on his return home in the southwestern city of Voronezh by shouting “glory to Ukraine.”
The soldier, dressed in military equipment, can be seen dragging the woman down the steps of an apartment building by her hair.
He yelled “on the ground” at the woman, who reportedly came from Ukraine during the war, before repeatedly kicking and punching her body and face.
The gruesome attack on the woman, who lay defenseless on the ground, lasted 20 minutes, witnesses say.

The footage shows at least three bystanders nearby, but they do not intervene to help the stricken woman.
They are “calmly watching what happens,” says one report.
The video was shot from a tall building overlooking the horrific attack.
Whether the woman was treated in hospital after the attack has not been reported.
The now frightened woman has since refused to press charges when she and the attacker were taken to police, reports said.
Local newspaper MOE reported that she told officers, “I just fell down.”

It is believed that the Russian police are taking no further action in response to the incident.
It is unclear whether the soldier was one of thousands of Wagner mercenaries currently sent home to rest after fighting for Putin, or a regular.
Neighbors said the woman came to Voronezh from Ukraine.
The Voronezh region shares a border with the occupied Luhansk region of Ukraine.
