Manchester United are monitoring Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat after club admitted he IS for sale
Manchester United ‘following Fiorentina’s midfielder Sofyan Amrabat’ – who is available for just £30m – after club bosses admit the World Cup star IS is for sale this summer
According to reports, Manchester United are eyeing Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat.
Mail Sport previously reported that the club were on the verge of rekindling their interest in the midfielder after initially targeting him during the January spell.
Instead, Erik ten Hag’s side made an effort for Marcel Sabitzer to strengthen their midfield after an injury to Christian Eriksen.
Fiorentina have previously been unwilling to part ways with the 26-year-old, who has become a regular in Vincenzo Italiano’s high-performing squad that helped them reach the Coppa Italia and Europa Conference League finals this season.
But the club have since changed their mind and could be willing to let the player go for just £30m.

From talkSPORTthis has piqued the interest of the Red Devils, who are in the middle of a midfield revamp.
Ten Hag’s reform was heralded with the arrival of Mason Mount, who joined Chelsea for £60 million and was signed as a priority last week.
The product of the Cobham academy drew the ire of Blues supporters upon arrival at Old Trafford after a video was shared of the player showing Mount and his father describing the dressing room as ‘special’ and ‘home’.
Mount has been a Chelsea player for the past 18 years, with the midfielder joining the side aged six.

Securing Amrabat’s services would allow Man United to bolster their central and defensive midfield capabilities, and the club has previously expressed interest in a number of alternatives to the position.
The club’s fruitless hunt for Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong last summer fell through in the final stages, with the player unwilling to leave the Camp Nou just three years after his long-awaited move to the Camp Nou.
Amrabat has had a sparkling season for both his club and country, having played a key role in helping Morocco make historic progress at the World Cup in Qatar.
Their fourth-place finish was the highest ever for an African nation, following historic victories against Belgium, Spain and Portugal.

Man United also want to pull Andre Onana out of Serie A as a priority target
His competitive price could further endear the player to the Manchester side, who will face financial restrictions on their summer spending to comply with Financial Fair Play rules.
Ten Hag is looking to add additional recruits to United’s goal and leading line, with Inter Milan’s Andre Onana and Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund the priority targets in their respective positions.
To free up money for additional spending, United will be looking at a range of team players including Fred, Donny van de Beek, Anthony Elanga, Alex Telles, Eric Bailly, Brandon Williams and Hannibal Mejbri.
The club is also willing to listen to offers for Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho, Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay and Dean Henderson.
