Tash Peterson clashes with Fyre restaurant’s John Mountain second time in Perth

A notorious activist has clashed again with an anti-vegan chef at his restaurant, drawing diners and protesters into the fight.

For the second week in a row, Tash Peterson led protesters to the Fyre restaurant in Perth, where vegans were banned by chef John Mountain last month.

Ms Peterson had stormed into the venue last weekend before staging a second protest on Saturday night.

Protesters chanted and showed a video of a pig being slaughtered with the audio amplified through a loudspeaker.

Mr. Mountain was seen on footage storming out a number of times and trudging with the activists as he attempted to wrestle Ms. Peterson’s loudspeaker.

This led to one of the protesters tackling Mr. Mountain, who eventually went back to his restaurant.

Ms Peterson later posted a photo to Instagram of her bloodied hand.

“We have returned tonight and will fight with blood, sweat and tears for the non-humans who fell victim to the greatest holocaust in history,” she wrote.

Shortly after the loudspeaker fight, Mr. Mountain re-emerged from his otherwise barricaded restaurant with the door closed and the blinds down.

He was joined by some patrons as they tried to physically shut down the protest.

Eight police officers arrived about an hour after the clashes began.

“Police threatened to arrest me for ‘disorderly conduct’ for making pigs scream in gas chambers for disturbing police,” Peterson captioned a photo of her talking to an officer.

According to the Western Australianthe officer first tried to defuse the situation.

Teenagers reportedly yelled at both the activists and the chef, “You’re disgusting.”

Mr. Mountain uttered gross insults, referring to Ms. Peterson’s OnlyFans page.

“Do you know how long these people will stay here and disrupt my business?” Mr. Mountain asked the police.

Ms. Peterson once worked as a pool lifeguard before deciding to share racy content on OnlyFans, where she reportedly earned as much as $40,000 a month.

She opened the previous protest when it turned violent on June 30.

Ms Peterson and a dozen other activists stormed into Fyre, with a loudspeaker loudly playing the sound of pigs squealing in distress before being slaughtered.

At one point, Mr. Mountain is seen restraining Mrs. Peterson with his hand on her shoulder.

He also grabbed another protester by her hoodie and dragged her outside.

“So we just caused a disturbance at the Fyre restaurant,” Ms Peterson said in a video posted after the altercation.

“It was absolutely f**king chaotic.”

“I was grabbed by the neck and it’s a bit bruised at the moment, I have cuts and bruises.

“Because there were 12 activists, there were probably at least some of us who were also physically assaulted, but this is just the backlash we face as animal rights activists.”

Mr Mountain said the ban on vegans followed an unreasonable complaint from a vegan customer who had demanded the venue accommodate her dietary requirements.

Following a social media statement banning vegans, Fyre claimed the restaurant was flooded with one-star reviews on Google in an attempt to hurt its business.

He said many chefs “despised” vegans and that Ms. Peterson, whom he called “Trasher,” could expect a letter from his lawyers.

She is currently banned from all licensed premises in WA.

“I’m just a guy trying to run a small business in WA’s northern suburbs. It should end now. Stop giving everyone this platform – just end it,” he told the publication.

“Peace and love, vegans.”

Mr. Mountain added that the stunt had tripled his restaurant’s sales.

“Thank you vegans, I love you,” he said.
