The New York Giants’ Darnay Holmes finally breaks his silence on THAT viral sideline video – as he reveals that even the OWNER of the team laughed at him in the wake of his sideline massage

New York Giants cornerback Darnay Holmes has finally broken his silence over the NSFW clip of him that went viral in October.

Holmes’ Giants were playing the Packers in London – a game they would win 27-22 – when he realized he had a bruise on his thigh.

But instead of getting to work in a medical tent, the defensive back got an impromptu massage on the sidelines, leaving his bum exposed while a trainer tried to fix the problem.

Holmes explained on the ‘2nd Wind podcasthow the closed nature of the game apparently left him little time to get to a medical tent.

“I knew I had a bruise on my thigh,” Holmes said. “Once it gets stiff, it’s over. Your day is over. So I’m like ‘I can’t let it get stiff, man, it’s two minutes [drill].’

“I’m like, ‘Hey, J [the Giants’ trainer], I want you to rub my thigh. But I know this could go south – let’s go to the tent.’ He said, ‘No, you’re about to hit the field, man.

“I’m like, ‘It is what it is right now. Stake.”

Fortunately for the Giants, their transcontinental run back to New York was a lucky one, as they held off a late advance from Green Bay.

And the GM and owner of the Giants had some questions for him on the return trip.

“We’re celebrating, we’re on the plane… Our GM [Joe Schoen] and owner [John Mara] came to me like “So that’s how you solve it?” Holmes recalled.

Holmes also gave an explanation of the incident on Twitter in October.

‘You need to chill, the tent was not available! Everyone is having so much fun with this video so I decided to team up with @momentoNFT and make it an nft,” he wrote. “I’m going to give away some autographed balls and do some live streams as well.”

Appearing in 15 games last year, the 2020 fourth-round pick was a key part of New York’s defense as the team reached the divisional round of the playoffs.
