Brighton are reportedly seeking a fee of more than £100 million for Moises Caicedo after seeing the fee Arsenal and West Ham have agreed for Declan Rice.

A top target for Chelsea this summer, Caicedo was also wanted by Arsenal before they shifted their focus to Rice.

The Rice transfer saga finally came to an end this week as the Gunners agreed to pay £105 million with just £5 million in add-ons.

The Seagulls see Caicedo as someone who is in the same boat as the England midfielder and also point out that he is three years younger.

And The Telegraph claiming that they will only let the Ecuadorian leave if they receive similar compensation.

It is believed that an agreement has already been reached between Caicedo and Chelsea and that Blues swiftly rejected a £60m offer last month.

Brighton are known for being tough negotiators and unlikely to budge on their valuation.
