Manufacturer UPPAbaby is recalling its All-Terrain Ridge Jogging Stroller after a child lost a fingertip.

The accident occurred because the stroller’s rear disc brakes have openings that are big enough for a child’s fingertip to fit through while the buggy is moving causing amputation or laceration.

The child who lost their fingertip was not was not in the stroller at the time of the incident.

UPPAbaby say about 14,000 of the $600 strollers were sold at BuyBuyBaby, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Pottery Barn Kids, Amazon and other baby stores between October 2021 and this August.
