Kevin Costner’s first wife Cindy Silva shops for groceries 30 years after their marriage ended

Kevin Costner’s first wife, Cindy Silva, was spotted running errands nearly 30 years after her marriage to the Hollywood actor fell apart when the Yellowstone star filed for another divorce.

Cindy, 66, who tied the knot with the 68-year-old actor in 1978 but divorced him in 1994, was photographed running errands at Gelson’s Market in California over the weekend.

She kept it casual in black leggings, a button-up denim top and Birkenstock sandals.

It was a far cry from the life she led with Costner when she attended red carpet events and Hollywood parties with the movie star three decades ago.

Cindy was seen pushing a large cart of groceries — including a bouquet of flowers — to her car and loading it into the trunk while wearing her shoulder-length, white hair loose and thick-rimmed glasses.

Later that day, she was caught dropping a man off at the airport. She seemed cheerful on both outings, smiling at one point.

Kevin and Cindy met in college in 1975, when they were both students at California State University – Fullerton, and were married three years later.

They welcomed two daughters together, Annie in 1984 and Lily in 1986, as well as a son, named Joe, in 1988.

But after 16 years together, their marriage ended in divorce after a slew of rumors circulated that Kevin had been unfaithful to Cindy.

At the time, reports emerged claiming that he was involved in an affair with a celebrated hula dancer named Michele Amaral while he was filming the movie Waterworld in Hawaii.

New York Daily News reported that Kevin and Michele, a married mother of two, met at the Mauna Lani hotel, and soon after she was “spotted crawling out of his $4,500-a-day mansion.”

The outlet said that Cindy found out about the affair from someone who had worked on the film but was fired.

Kevin strenuously denied the allegations at the time, saying he was only interviewing Michele for a job, insisting that he and the hula dancer had never even spoken on the phone.

He satiated Parade magazine in 1995: ‘[The cheating allegations] were hard on Cindy and our kids.

“It hasn’t helped matters. All it did was hurt. The breakdown of my marriage was the hardest thing of all for me.”

In a separate interview with the Seattle Times that year, Kevin took responsibility for his role in the demise of his marriage, but did not go into details.

“A series of events conspired to happen simultaneously. I know it hurt some people that I had failed in my marriage. And the marriage was my own failure,” he said.

Their split would be one of the most expensive Hollywood divorces ever — and Cindy reportedly walked away with $80 million.

Since then, Cindy has stepped away from the spotlight and now lives a much quieter life.

As for Kevin, he briefly dated a woman named Bridget Rooney — heiress to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and aunt to actresses Rooney and Kate Mara — after his divorce from Cindy, and together they welcomed a son, named Liam, in 1996.

In 2004, he married designer Christine Baumgartner after four years of dating.

They had two sons, Cayden in 2007 and Hayes in 2009, and a daughter, named Grace, in 2010. Christine filed for divorce in May.
