Jax Taylor lets slip on his Vanderpump Rules return

Jax Taylor has unleashed his return to Vanderpump Rules on a drunken night out while performing at a nightclub in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The reality personality, 43, let the cat out of the bag when he took the stage at the event on Friday, telling fans, “It’s been two years, but I’m ready to be back!”

Jax was fired from the show three years ago amid a racism frenzy involving his former co-stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute’s. actions against Faith Stowers.

Though he promised a fiery return, he said, “And I’m going to bring it.” I promise you, I’ll bring it! The people on…. actually I say probably too much night now! I’ll bring the people who need to be called in.’

It’s likely that Jax was referring to the explosive season 10 finale, which revealed Tom Sandoval had a months-long affair with Raquel Leviss.

The reality star and actor attended NOLA’s fifth anniversary celebration, and as he mingled with the partygoers and handed out swag, he seemingly opened up about his future on the Bravo reality show.

Jax—born Jason Michael Cauchi—said, “I’m here to drink, take pictures, and talk about Vanderpump, and let’s do that for a second, talk about Vanderpump.”

The former model gave no specific details about a possible return to the Bravo reality TV world, but an eyewitness at the nightclub revealed that Us weekly that he was “smiling and grinning as if telling a secret.”

While fans will no doubt hope that Jax returns to the original show, he was probably referring to the spin-off in the works.

NBCUniversal is planning a derivative of the show after a ratings spike following “Scandoval” — the cheating scandal that shocked fans earlier this year, Deadline reported Wednesday.

The eight-episode season will reportedly follow a group of close friends who have traded their lives in West Hollywood for a more low-key, family-oriented lifestyle in The Valley.

The outlet said that Jax and Brittany will be part of the cast, as well as Kristen.

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules is currently underway and will show the aftermath of the devastating affair between co-stars Raquel and Tom that broke Tom’s nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix, another star on the show.

The deals for the upcoming reality TV show are not finalized yet

Taylor, one of the show’s original cast members and controversial breakout stars, was fired from the show in December 2020, along with his wife Brittany Cartwright, for accusing fellow cast member Faith of a crime she did not commit.

Original cast members Stassi and Kristen were the first to be let go, in connection with the controversy, after they were accused of making racial slurs against Stowers.

At first, Taylor seemed shocked by his firing. But when he announced his departure from Vanderpump Rules on social media, it sounded like it was his decision to leave.

“The past 8 years on Vanderpump Rules have been some of the most challenging, rewarding and fulfilling years of my life,” Taylor began in an Instagram post.

“While this is hard to share, Brittany and I will not be returning for another season of Vanderpump Rules.”

He continued, “We are excited to take this time to focus on our growing family and share with you our new endeavors. @bravotv, @evolutionusa and our Vanderpump castmates will always be close to our hearts. Thank you to all the fans who have shared our journey with us and supported us through it all.”

However, some viewers had called for him to get the boot as well, as he also accused Stowers of crimes in a tweet.

Jax and Brittany started dating in 2015, got engaged three years later, and finally got married in Kentucky on June 29, 2019, meaning they celebrated their fourth birthday two days ago.

The couple would welcome their first child together, son Cruz, in April 2021.

Taylor featured the adorable little boy in a few video clips posted to his Instagram Stories, showing him running to his dad as soon as he got home.

He followed up with a few more videos of the father-son duo sharing several loving hugs and kisses while lounging on the couch at home.

A return to the Vanderpump Rules would come in the wake of Taylor and Cartwright commenting on a season 10 episode earlier this year, as well as a recap of the show’s most recent season, which premiered February 8 for Peacock- subscribers.

The Watch Me miniseries has reportedly boosted their interest in returning to Vanderpump Rules for Season 11, which is currently filming.

“We definitely get the creeps because it was nice to have the cameras and the crew,” Cartwright, 34, revealed to Us Weekly last month.

“It was so much fun going through that whole lifestyle again. Like when we did Watch What Happens Live [With Andy Cohen], I got a little teary behind the scenes because this was, in fact, such a big part of my life for six years — and for Jax, nine years. So it just felt really good to do those things again.”

Among all the recent chatter about Vanderpump Rules and its former two stars: a reunion of Taylor, Cartwright and fellow alum Kristen Doute for a new spin-off series that will reportedly follow a group of friends who have swapped their lives in West Hollywood for a family-oriented lifestyle.

So far, there’s been no official word on whether the show and cast are a foregone conclusion since the news went public on June 28.
