Dominik Szoboszlai is cleared to fly to Liverpool for a medical as Jurgen Klopp closes in on the £60m RB Leipzig star
RB Leipzig’s Dominik Szoboszlai has been given permission to travel to England for a medical ahead of his move to Liverpool.
The 22-year-old will join Anfield after Liverpool activated his £60 million release clause.
Personal terms will not be a problem for Szoboszlai, who can play both in midfield and wide. He is expected to sign a five-year contract.
Szoboszlai’s release clause was due to expire on Friday evening, but Liverpool activated it on time.
Capped 32 times by his country, the Hungary international has been followed by a number of top European clubs, but was always likely to finish in the Premier League.
