Job hunter details how she got callbacks and job offers using ChatGPT

A job hunter has lifted the lid on how she was called back by every company she applied for using AI — including one position she applied for multiple times.

Leah Graham is known as @leah_sahdm on TikTok, where she shares videos about using the artificial intelligence platform ChatGPT to create resumes and cover letters.

She recently went viral after describing how she reportedly landed three job offers in 10 days after submitting targeted resumes generated by ChatGPT.

‘I very impulsively quit my job in April. I’ve been looking for a job for the last two damn months, three now,” she explained. “I’m telling you I applied for over 300 f*****g positions, and I only had a 10 percent rate that I would hear back.”

After weeks of relative silence, she turned to ChatGPT to update her resume using strategic clues and was stunned by the results.

“I did this about 10 days ago and I’ve heard from every job I applied for,” she claimed. “I’ve interviewed for every job I’ve applied for, and I’ve already received offers for three of those positions.”

Graham noted that she applied four times for one of the positions before she “finally got a yes” thanks to ChatGPT.

‘This is free. You don’t need a resume yet. This isn’t an upsell,’ she insisted.

In a series of three videos, she provided a step-by-step tutorial on how to get the AI chatbot to generate a detailed resume using customizable prompts.

Graham shared the first prompt, leaving blanks in the areas specific to the individual, including your previous job title and the position you’re applying for.

To begin with, she wrote, “I am reviewing my resume. I worked as (job title) in the (industry/large company/city) for (time). From this position I enter my work experience. Please ask me as many questions as you need to help me rewrite my resume to sound more (customer service oriented/technical/whatever skill you need for the positions you are applying for) and professional.”

ChatGPT responded with a number of questions such as: ‘Did you work with a team or independently?’ and “Have you interacted with clients or customers in any capacity?”

After entering all her previous work experience, the chatbot presented her with a bulleted list that was divided into several categories, including leadership and achievements

Graham explained that the chatbot asked about customer service because that was the skill she entered in her first prompt.

“Once you answer those questions, you get something that looks like this,” she said. “It’s going to produce an objective statement and these bullet points.”

The bullet points were organized into several categories, including leadership and performance, education, and skills.

Graham repeated the process, this time with her second station information.

When she was done, she asked ChatGPT to generate an objective statement based on the work history she provided.

“If you’re already intermediate to upper level in your field, you probably won’t take the help of Chat GPT for this,” she explained. “But if you’re like me, where you’ve worked in multiple fields for a significant amount of time, this will be helpful.”

Finally, Graham had ChatGPT summarize her accomplishments, leadership, and achievements in four customer-facing bullet points for every job listed on her resume
