The United States defeated Saint Kitts and Nevis 6-0 in their Gold Cup game on Wednesday-evening.
They raced into a 4-0 lead with Dorde Mihailovic opening the scoring within the first 12 minutes and Bryan Reynolds scoring just two minutes later.
BJ Callaghan’s team scored four goals for good in just 25 minutes, while Jesus Ferreira scored two goals in the 16th and nine minutes later.
The quick goal fest came after the USMNT were held to a 1-1 draw by Jamaica in their opening game of the tournament this weekend.
Brandon Vazquez equalized late after the US fell behind as they fired up their CONCACAF Gold Cup defense.

Mihailovic slammed the ball into the net from close range, while Reynolds scored a nice volley from outside the penalty area.
The US did no further damage to their opponents in the first half, but they led 5-0 early in the second half.
Five minutes into the break, Ferreira scored his hat-trick, firing the ball in with a calm right-footed finisher.

Mihailovic added his second and the team’s sixth with just over 10 minutes remaining.
The victory in St. Louis moved the US to the top of Group A on goal difference, while Trinidad and Tobago had to play on Sunday.
Similar to the team’s 2021 Gold Cup run, the USA selected an almost all-new squad after their Nations League victory.
Callaghan made seven changes to the team retained by Jamaica, who are second in the group after a 4-1 win over Trinidad and Tobago earlier in the day.
