Mullin suggested Monday that he and the president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters fight with him for charity on September 30 in Tulsa.

Greedy CEO pretends to be self-made. In reality just a clown and fraudster. Always has been, always will be. Quit playing the tough guy role in these Senate hearings. You know where to find me. Everywhere, always cowboy,” O’Brien wrote on Twitter days ago.

“An attention-seeking Teamster union leader tries to be feisty after our Senate hearing. OK, I accept your challenge. MMA fight for a charity of your choice. Sept. 30 in Tulsa, Okla.

“Giving you three days to accept,” Mullin wrote in a tweet Monday.

The pair previously traded barbs at a Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee hearing in March, where Mullin went after O’Brien’s salary.

Mullin, who owned and operated an ununion plumbing business before selling his majority shares in 2021, accused O’Brien and other union leaders of “sucking the paycheck” out of union workers to pay their “exorbitant” salaries.

Mullin claimed he and his employees were intimidated when they started getting contracts over unionized workers.

“They would show up at my house. They would lean against my trucks. I am not afraid of a physical confrontation, sometimes I even look forward to it. That’s not my problem. But if you do that to my employees?’ Mullin said.

‘For what? Because we paid higher wages? Because we had better fringe benefits, and [weren’t] demand that they pay your men’s exorbitant salaries?’ he added before asking O’Brien what his salary was.

O’Brien tried to answer, but Mullin interrupted — noting that O’Brien made 3,000 in 2019, while the average driver made ,000 a year.

As of 2021, according to Tulsa World, the value of Mullin’s assets ranged from $31.6 million to $75.6 million. His salary in Congress is $174,000.

“And what are you bringing to the table?” he asked O’Brien.

‘That’s incorrect. State facts. That’s not right,” O’Brien shot back.

“What job have you created—one job—other than sucking the salary out of someone else?” Mullin asked.

“You’re going too far, man,” O’Brien said.

“Don’t tell me I’m out of step,” Mullin joked, “you need to shut up.”

However, the final challenge to a fight appears to come from a more recent hearing in which Mullin again referred to O’Brien’s salary, but called him by the wrong name.

“Hey, JohnWayne Mullin..First of all, my name is O’Brien, not O’Malley. Second, you need to get your facts straight, because every time you speak in these hearings, you’re full of shit. The more you speak up, the more you show the American public what an idiot you are,” O’Brien tweeted, with an excerpt from the hearing.

In another follow-up tweet, O’Brien wrote, “What have you done for working people in OK? Last time I checked, your state is near the bottom of average wages. It sounds like you should shut up and get to work for the people in your state. They deserve action, not your fake ‘man of the people’ story.’

In 2006 and 2007, Mullin fought in three mixed martial arts bouts, winning all three.
