Dua Lipa poses in a sparkly light purple two piece as she poses for Versace
Dua Lipa was a knockout in purple this week.
The 5ft8in singer from London has presented her swimwear designs that she worked on with Donatella Versace for the famous Italian fashion house Versace.
The brunette beauty wore a skinny thong bikini that made the most of her incredible figure in an outdoor setting near apartment buildings.
She stood by a vintage cotton candy pink Cadillac convertible while wearing high heels and holding a handbag.
The footage was shared on Instagram on Thursday, with fans calling the photos “stunning” and “genuinely sexy.”
The 27-year-old pop star wrote in the caption, “Vacanza season is approaching!!! ~ photographed by @carlijnjacobs for my @versace “La Vacanza” collection, co-designed by myself and @donatella_versace.’

She wore several necklaces, a belly chain and bracelets for a very decadent look.
Earlier this month, she was seen in a dress for Versace as she reclined on a lounger. And she’s worn the designer many times in the past — both on the red carpet and in magazine shoots.
This comes after Lipa’s ‘Levitating’ copyright infringement suit was dismissed.
The 2020 mega-hit star was accused of ripping off Artikal Sound System’s 2017 reggae single ‘Live Your Life’, suing the singer and her label Warner Records.
The band said they believe Dua and her team heard their song and came up with a copy in ‘Levitating’. However, on June 7, U.S. District Judge Sunshine Sykes said Artikal Sound System could not prove that Dua and her team had access to their song, Reuters reports.
They can file a new lawsuit if they wish, with their attorney Stewart Levy indicating that they are considering their next move.
In addition, the judge refused to allow them to move the case from Los Angeles to New York, where another “Levitating” copyright case will be heard by songwriters Sandy Linzer and L. Russell Brown.
The pair claimed that their 1979 song “Wiggle And Giggle All Night” and 1980s “Don Diablo,” which were performed by Cory Daye and Miguel Bosé respectively, also resemble Dua’s chart hit. Documents obtained by Billboard last year stated: “The signature melody is the most listened to and recognizable part of the infringing works and plays a critical role in their popularity.

“Because video creators often truncate the already short sound clips on TikTok, the signature tune often comprises 50 percent or more of these viral videos.” The duo accused Dua of “deliberately recreating earlier eras.”
Their lawyers added: ‘In search of nostalgic inspiration, defendants copied plaintiffs’ creation without attribution. “Defendants took plaintiffs’ intellectual property. Plaintiffs are filing suit so that defendants cannot disengage under their willful misdemeanor.”
In addition to Dua and Warner, DaBaby, the rapper who featured on a remix of “Levitating,” was also named in the lawsuit. Dua previously admitted that she never expected ‘Levitating’ – which featured on her chart-topping album ‘Future Nostalgia’ – to become such a big hit. She confessed, “I can never anticipate which song people will respond to best, but ‘Levitating’ was the first song that helped dictate the rest of the album.”
Lipa has also been ‘hurt’ this month by the British government’s rhetoric towards Albanian migrants.

Born in London to Kosovan Albanian parents, the ‘floating’ hitmaker was shocked by the ‘mean-spirited’ comments from ministers such as Interior Minister Suella Braverman, who singled out ‘Albanian criminals’ when discussing immigration last year.
Dua told the Sunday Times newspaper: ‘Of course it hurt. All those words doing the rounds about immigrants? I always felt that London was a fusion of cultures. It is an integral part of the city. So when you hear the government talk about Albanians, for example, it hurts.
“It’s short-sighted and narrow-minded, but that’s how a lot of people think. No matter how we try to change the rhetoric, there will always be people who think, ‘Immigrants are coming in and taking jobs!’
“But immigrants who have come here have earned their living by working incredibly hard. There needs to be more empathy, because people only leave their country if they have to, out of fear for their families.’
Dua is not afraid to speak out on political issues, but is wary of supporting certain politicians.
The 2star explained, “As much as I love speaking about politics around the world, I would stay away from politicians.
“I’m just thinking better about tuning into that aspect now. It’s different when I talk about certain rights, but I’ve realized that no matter how much you want to believe someone is a good guy, they eventually let you down.’
Meanwhile, the pop sensation has welcomed the response to the launch of her book club on her Service95 platform and is pleased that the project has inspired young people to take up reading.
Dua said, ‘I’ve had a great response. People say their kids started reading because I posted about books. Everything is so bite-sized now, but reading takes you away from that.
“It’s cool to encourage younger generations to read, which they may not have been taught because of social media. I know reading is declining, but I read everywhere.’
