Dominique P. – as he is known by French legal authorities – will stand trial next year, along with alleged accomplices he met on an online sex forum, for alleged crimes committed against his wife of 50 between 2011 and 2020.

Police have used video and computer data to identify 92 cases of rape of his wife – referred to by police as ‘Françoise’ – by 83 men, and have so far identified 51 suspects aged between 26 and 73.

Dominique P. allegedly recruited his wife’s attackers through an online forum called ‘Without Her Knowing’ – where users discuss committing sexual acts with unwitting partners – and storing evidence on a USB stick in a file containing the name ‘ABUSES’.

The vast majority of attacks were filmed, with the videos placed in computer files complete with the name of the attacker and the type of sexual act.

In his videos, Dominique P. called his wife a “slut” hundreds of times, but insisted he meant it affectionately.

He also told investigating judges that he loves his “holy” wife.

His lawyer added that Françoise was “his first love, indeed the only love of his life.”

Dominique P. allegedly used the drug Lorazepam to anesthetize his wife by mixing it into her meal before inviting men to have sex with her while she was unconscious at their home in Mazan, near Avignon.

Investigators learned of the horror after they arrested Dominique in 2020 for filming the skirts of customers at a supermarket in nearby Carpentras, during a search of his home in Provence during which camera equipment and “dozens of videosof his wife’s abuse.

Alleged rapists involved in the case include government officials, paramedics, soldiers, prison guards, nurses, a journalist, a city councilor and truck drivers.

A firefighter accused of raping Françoise wore his uniform during the attack, a video shows.

The firefighter’s computer contained 728 images of children being sexually abused.

Some of his accomplices claimed they had no idea his wife was not consensual, while one denied rape, saying, “It’s his wife, he does what he wants with her.”

The father of three, in his early 70s, is currently in prison in Avignon, in the south of France, on charges of ‘aggravated rape’ and administering drugs used to sedate his wife.

When his wife was made aware of the secret ties, she broke down and became suicidal, saying “I was his thing,” before filing for divorce.

The husband is also suspected of raping and then murdering Sophie Narme, a 23-year-old real estate agent, who was found mutilated in December 1991 in a flat in the 19th arrondissement of Paris.

An autopsy revealed that the young woman had been drugged, raped, strangled and stabbed in the chest with a knife.

Investigative sources told Le Parisien newspaper that they suspect Dominique P. of setting up a meeting with Ms. Narme in the flat, under the fictitious name of ‘Mr Duboste’.

A colleague of Ms. Narme recalled meeting a man who went by the name Duboste and fit Dominique P.’s description.

Another female real estate agent – 19 years old and only named E. – was attacked under similar circumstances in 1999 by Dominique P. in a flat in the Paris suburb of Villeparisis, but managed to escape after fighting back.

In the second case, blood was found on the carpet and in August 2022, DNA was found that matched the genetic profile of Dominique P..

Dominique P. was in the real estate industry in the 1990s, and robot portraits of Duboste and the man who attacked E. “are very similar to him,” according to an investigative source.

On September 7, 2022, Dominique P. appeared before a judge in Nanterre, where he was charged with the murder of Sophie Narme, and the attempted rape of E.

Dominique P. has now admitted to raping E., but denies having anything to do with the 1991 case.
