The race to sign Coventry City star Viktor Gyokeres is on, with as many as four Premier League teams vying to secure his signature.

Gyokeres were a standout in the Championship last season, scoring 21 goals and 12 assists as Coventry reached the play-off final, losing to Luton Town on penalties.

Swedish striker Gyokeres has many admirers and Mail Sport understands that West Ham, Fulham, Wolves and Brentford are all pushing to bring him in this summer.

The £25 million striker is also attracting interest from Europe, with Sporting Lisbon keen to sign a deal.

Gyokeres has just 12 months left on his Coventry contract – which has created a frenzy for his signature.
