All hunt locations in Final Fantasy 16

During yachts FinalFantasy 16, you’re tasked with tracking down infamous markers, threatening opponents prowling across the continent, and defeating them to prevent them from causing further damage. Not only do you gain fame and pride, you also gain vital crafting materials, scream and fame after completing a bounty.

Continue to find out when you unlock yachts and where to find all the yachts we’ve found so far FinalFantasy 16. We’ll update this post with more information as soon as we find the rest of the infamous markers.

When do you unlock yachts in Final Fantasy 16?

After completing the “The approaching stormmain story quest, you unlock the Hunting board in the Shelter. Interaction with Nectar the moogle to see which yachts are available for you. As you progress through the main story, you’ll unlock more bounties to track down at the Hunt Board. Also make sure to complete side quests with the plus icon as some will give you more bounties to complete.

All hunting locations in Final Fantasy 16

So far we have one a total of 16 yachts in FinalFantasy 16, but we expect there to be 20 yachts just based on the yacht board layout. We’ve listed the infamous markers in chronological order, along with their ranks and locations.

Location Ahriman

The Ahriman hunt is unlocked during the “The approaching stormmain story quest while on your way to perform the Casting.

Level: 25, C grade
Place: Southeast of Sorrowise in Rosaria
Obelisk: Martha’s rest
Rewards: 10 magic ashes, one meteorite, 5,000 gil and 10 fame

The location of the Angel of Death

Belphegor location

Dozmare location

The Dozmare hunt is unlocked during the “Blacksmith’s Blues‘side quest, which is given to you by August in the Shelter after you “Black light is onsearch for the main story.

The exact moment when youA hill to die onhunting is a bit unclear, but we unlocked it after visiting Dhalmekia for the first time during the “Puzzle of the sandsearch for the main story.

Ruin Reawakened location

Rewards: An orichalcum, a fallen enigma, an amber, an empty shard, 30,000 gil and 60 fame

Tips to beat hunts

The difficulty level for hunts is quite high, so you may not need help with the C-rank bounties, but the A-rank and S-rank bounties will test your strength.

Here are a few ways to make your hunt a little easier.

Save before going to the hunting location. Many of the infamous markers will pack a punch, and the S ranks in particular have the ability to kill you in two hits. If you do die, you’ll need to respawn at the nearest obelisk, which is the case in most cases terribly far away. Save yourself some time by saving just before the battle so you can go back to your save file instead of making the trek back.
Bring your best gear. Visit the blacksmith, Blackthorne, in the Hideaway to craft the best weapons and armor you can. You’ll want to increase your damage output and defense as high as possible before taking on the more difficult infamous points.
Stock up on drinks. Go to Charon’s shop and fill your inventory with items. Grab potions, elixirs or whatever your heart desires, but make sure you go into battle prepared.
Upgrade your skills. If you have any skill points lying around, use them to increase the power of your skills by upgrading them in the skills menu. Any improvement in your damage output will be a big help. If you don’t like the upgraded option, you can refund your upgrades for free whenever you want.
Try it, try again. Some of the more difficult hunts will really test your patience as the terrifying enemies drain half your health in one go. However, dying is not a punishment. If you know you’re going to die, focus on learning the enemy’s moveset to go into the next battle with a better game plan.
