Sarah Jessica Parker on her reunion with Sex and the City co-star John Corbett in And Just Like That

Sarah Jessica Parker says she ‘loves’ Sex And The City co-star John Corbett who returns in And Just Like That…: ‘It’s great to be in his company again’

Sarah Jessica Parker had nothing but tender words about her reunion with Sex and the City co-star John Corbett on the second season of And Just Like That.

Per an interview with People magazinegushed the 58-year-old Sex and the City star: “It’s great to be in it [John’s] company again.’

“I’ve been pretty open about how much I love him and how easy he is to work with,” Sarah added.

Sex and the City fans were thrilled when news broke that John would be reprising his role as Carrie Bradshaw’s second love, Aidan Shaw, in And Just Like That season two.

The Emmy Award-winning actress teased that Carrie is spending “the back end” of the season in Aidan’s company.

Introduced in the third season of Sex and the City as the antithesis of Mr. Big (played by Chris Noth), Aidan acted as Carrie’s conscience, convincing her to quit smoking and trying to encourage her to embrace a more consistent love.

While Big could never quite commit to Carrie the way she wanted, Aidan was ready to settle down with Carrie.

However, Carrie’s own commitment issues played a role in the demise of her relationship with Aidan.

She cheated on him with Big, but then Aidan decided to give Carrie a second chance after begging him to give their relationship another try.

Ironically, Aidan’s proposal meant the end of his relationship with Carrie, who wouldn’t even wear his engagement ring on her finger.

While Carrie and Aidan shared a scandalous kiss in Sex and the City 2 while they were both married to other people, that was the last time fans saw Carrie’s second greatest love.

With Big killed off and the first two episodes of And Just Like That season two airing on Max on Thursday, June 22, Carrie and Aidan’s long-awaited reunion is at hand.

Of course, plot details related to the couple’s And Just Like That season two storyline have been kept well under wraps.

While the woman behind Carrie Bradshaw had nothing but loving words to say about her reunion with her 6’5 leading man, Sarah also spoke about John’s work ethic on set.

“He’s always growing Aidan out of the page in a way only he can,” Sarah said.

On filming scenes like Carrie and Aidan together again, the actress and entrepreneur said, “It just felt really comfortable and happy.”

“I love the story,” Sarah added, the only thing she would reveal about her thoughts on Carrie’s storyline with Aidan.

The first two episodes of And Just Like That season two will be released on Thursday 22 June at Max.
