A hungry customer has berated McDonald’s after taking a bite out of a quarter pounder and discovering the meat was raw.

Photos of the undercooked burger were posted on social media with a warning to fast food fans.

“Check your burgers before you eat if you buy from Woodbine Maccas (in Sydney) tonight,” said the irate customer.

“I just got home and I’ve been looking into this.”

One person has even accused the fast food giant of potentially endangering pregnant customers.

That says a spokesman for McDonald’s news.com.au the restaurant takes food safety and quality ‘very seriously’.

“We follow strict processes and procedures to ensure the quality of our food,” it said.

“We are working with the restaurant to investigate this further.”
