Ioan Gruffudd describes shocking food fight with daughter Ella, 13, in his own words

Ioan Gruffudd has described the shocking food fight with his teenage daughter after she admitted to trashing his apartment when she first met his girlfriend Bianca Wallace.

Ella – whose mother is Gruffudd’s ex-wife Alice Evans – discussed the incident last month while filing for a restraining order against Gruffudd and Wallace in Los Angeles.

The 13-year-old said in her statement that she was “so angry” with her father that she “threw milk on his bed, poured mustard on the floor and threw raw oatmeal over him.”

Gruffudd, 49, presented his version of events in new court documents seen by MailOnline, stating that the behavior “made clear that Ella is in urgent need of mental health care.”

He added that prior to the meeting, Dr. Gery LeGagnoux, a psychologist who is a child therapist and parenting coach, had hired to help with the kids and their first meeting with Wallace.

During their first meeting, Gruffudd claimed that Wallace “greeted politely” to Ella and nine-year-old Elsie, “encouraging” them to ask any questions they had and to play with the couple’s dog, Bubba Bear.

Gruffudd claims his daughters were “dismissive” to Wallace, stating that “Ella picked up her phone and FaceTimed her friends, then took a video tour of the apartment.” She walked around and gave a negative description of the place to her friends.

She vacillated between being loud and obnoxious, jumping up and down and laughing to herself and her friends. Her behavior was unhinged and nothing like I had seen before.

‘Ella came into my and Bianca’s bedroom. I followed her and asked her to end the conversation and sit down to discuss things. She repeated that she didn’t want to be there.

Ella was getting louder and louder. She went to the fridge and poured milk over our bed. I wasn’t angry, I was shocked and I didn’t know what to do and looked at Dr. LeGagnoux for help.

“Ella went to the kitchen and wrote “f**k” with a mustard bottle and sprayed it all over the counters and floors. She was still on the phone. Again, I didn’t respond, but tried to smooth it over and tell her and her friends on FaceTime that it wasn’t cool and it wasn’t fun.

“It became clear to me that Ella is in urgent need of psychiatric care.”

Gruffudd claimed that Ella then shoved Wallace while labeling her “f***ing s**t” before pouring rolled oats from a bag over his head.

He claimed: “I was in shock and didn’t react.”

In Ella’s presentation of the afternoon’s events, she claimed Gruffudd and Wallace called her “manipulative,” “abusive,” and “narcissistic” — words the actor denies using in his submission.

After the argument, Ella “decided she couldn’t be in that apartment anymore” and tried to leave — saying Wallace “tried to block her” by “raising her arms.”

“I was able to walk around her and opened the door,” Ella’s testimony continued.

“I was able to walk half way out of the door, but while I was still in the door frame, the respondent slammed the door on me, causing the door to hit both my head and arm. My arm got bruised and I had a small bump on my head.’

The evidence from both Ella and Gruffudd agree that Ella then tried to run out of the apartment with her father in pursuit.

Gruffudd said in his entry that he followed the girls, but Ella yelled at him that she was going to call the police – and the girls then ran out the garage door.

He continued, “I caught up with them for a while and asked them to come back. They laughed and seemed to enjoy the drama. They kept running away and I tried to keep an eye on them when I called Bianca to ask Dr. LeGagnoux for help.”

Finally, Gruffudd said he caught up with them when they got into the car of the father of one of Elsie’s friends, a man named Dennis Hauk.

Gruffudd said, “I spoke to Dennis and we agreed that he would take the girls to Alice’s house and that Bianca and I would follow him to make sure they arrived safely.”

The revelations from both parties come from documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court after Ella filed for a temporary restraining order against Gruffudd and Wallace.

Ella has also filed for civil harassment protection from Wallace, whom Gruffudd has been dating since 2021. The application will be heard in court next Friday.

The restraining order was filed following the incident at Gruffudd and Wallace’s home while Ella and her nine-year-old sister Elsie were visiting.
