Beyonce and Jay Z lead a VERY star-studded guest list at Pharrell Williams Louis Vuitton debut
Pharrell Williams summoned his celebrity friends when he unveiled his first show as creative director of menswear for Louis Vuitton in Paris on Tuesday.
Beyonce and Jay Z arrived fashionably late for the anticipated show at the Pont Neuf to support their friend, who is the first multi-season follow-up to the late Virgil Abloh.
Superstar Beyonce sparkled in a glittering yellow gold suit and cape as she stepped inside, arm in arm with her husband.
Kim Kardashian, Naomi Campbell and Zendaya also took their seats in the front row.
Beyonce represented the French fashion house in her satin co-ord and iconic LV bag, while adding bold hues.

A triumph: Beyonce and Jay Z arrived fashionably late for the anticipated show at the Pont Neuf to support their friend who is the first multi-season follow-up to the late Virgil Abloh
Jay Z was unusually dressed in a sharp three-piece suit.
The celebrity-filled crowd watched models strut down a runway to live music, parading in beaded tracksuits.
An audience gathered along the River Seine to catch a glimpse of the show that continued LV’s approach of mixing street style with luxury.
“I’m the second black man to ever experience this on the planet, the biggest fashion house in the world,” Pharrell said in an interview for the show, referring to his job since February.
The singer and producer, 50, ended months of speculation by filling the shoes of his friend Virgil Abloh, who held the job from March 2018 until his death in November 2021.
Abloh had been the industry’s most prominent black designer, credited with forging a niche for street style and casual skateboarding looks in high-end fashion.
“My brother Virgil was the first. He made so many steps in front of the house and did so many things. He brought skate culture into this world – while being an American black man. It’s surreal that I get to do this too,” Pharrell said.

LVMH Chairman and Chief Executive Bernard Arnault and his family, who have known the star for many years, have been “extremely supportive” of him in his new role, he said.
Pharrell was first introduced to the Arnault clan in a sunglasses design collaboration with Louis Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs in 2004.
The appointment raised eyebrows despite his extensive fashion experience, including founding streetwear brands with Japanese designer Nigo and designing capsule collections at Chanel.
But Pharrell brushed off skeptics who questioned his lack of formal fashion training. “I also didn’t go to Juilliard for music and I’m fine,” he said.
