Noel Gallagher talks about life after he divorced his wife Sara MacDonald and moved into his bachelor flat in London…with some VERY famous neighbors
He was once known for his rock and roll ways.
But it seems that Noel Gallagher is a changed man and now prefers to spend his days shopping for furniture and buying milk.
The former Oasis singer, 55, who divorced his wife Sara MacDonald, 51, in January, bought a house in west London and was looking for 1970s furniture and art to decorate it with.
He explained, “Finding vintage furniture is what I love doing right now. There’s a website called FirstDibs, which is great.”
Noel talked about his new house in Maida Vale during an interview in Germany and revealed that he has many famous neighbours, including Chrissie Hynde, Paul Weller and Glen Matlock.

He said, ‘I run into Glen quite often because he goes to the cafe that’s on the way to the pizza place I’m going to….
“…I see Weller a lot, I see Chrissie occasionally. But I think I am the most active.
“I think I saw Weller at the supermarket once. I’m always the one standing in line to buy milk.’
Notorious for his partying lifestyle at the height of Brit Pop in the mid-90s, Noel indulged in rowdy nights at his previous North London home.
Named Supernova Heights after the 1996 Oasis hit Champagne Supernova, the property had the name etched into the glass above the front door.
Partygoers included supermodel Kate Moss, actress Sadie Frost and The Charlatans who were all dubbed the Primrose Hill set.
Noel sold the London property to TV personality David Walliams and moved out of the capital in 2019 when he and Sara moved to rural Hampshire.
The move comes after Noel opened up about his split from Sara, who he dated for 12 years, revealing that the couple were “getting tired of each other.”

They married in 2011 at the Lime Wood Hotel in the New Forest in a £60,000 ceremony with guests including Russell Brand.
Younger brother and former bandmate Liam said he was not invited.
Liam doesn’t get along with Sara and has had a slew of public arguments with the PR manager in the past.
He even hinted that she was the reason there wouldn’t be an Oasis reunion, with Noel furious at Liam’s relentless public criticism of his now ex-wife.
