The sunscreen brand’s standout product – Isle Glow Face Lotion – offers 45 SPF and is designed to be silicone-free, vegan, cruelty-free and eco-friendly, according to the official Cay Skin place.

Winnie suffers from an autoimmune and skin condition called vitiligo, which “causes spotless loss of skin color,” according to the Mayo clinic.

Speak against BYRDIEWinnie revealed that the inspiration for creating Cay Skin came from a ‘traumatic’ photo shoot in the Bahamas in 2018. Without any protection from the harsh sun, Winnie’s skin suffered some serious consequences that forced her to seek medical attention.

While the experience was excruciating, it inspired Winnie to create sunscreen suitable for all skin tones, hoping that what happened to her wouldn’t happen to anyone else.
