I’m a mother and this is the best time to get pregnant

A mom has gone viral after she detailed why she thinks February is the best month to get pregnant.

Lilly Scott, 31, from Washington, DC, has more than 56,000 followers TikTokwhere she shares videos about pregnancy and motherhood.

The fitness instructor welcomed her first child, a girl named Waverly in May 2022, but she thinks mothers-to-be should aim to give birth in November if possible.

‘The best time to get pregnant is the end of February. I know I’m right, and that’s why,” she explained at the beginning of her video.

“Obviously, we can’t choose whether you ovulate,” she noted, “so on Valentine’s Day or after, that’s when you do that act.”

Scott shared that one of the benefits of getting pregnant in late February is that your morning sickness stops right before the start of summer.

Let’s face it, March is a throwaway month. It’s the worst month of the year,” she told viewers. “You start to get a little sick in March. April a little sick. Maybe still a little sick, but then it’s June. You’re in your second trimester, honey, and you’re feeling better. Just in time for summer.’

‘You can still travel. You feel good. There’s no pressure to look good because you’ve got a bump right now,” she added. “So you’re at the beach and they just say, ‘Oh my God, are you pregnant?'”

Scott explained that you then enter your third trimester in the fall, right when you “get cozy” and “everyone goes back to work.”

“Everyone knows you have to hold back from asking things of you,” she said. “You’re not feeling super confident in your own skin because now you’re going from cute pregnant to feeling really huge.” That’s no problem. Here’s a sweater. Put on a scarf, another scarf, nobody cares.’

Scott noted that as you approach 40 weeks of pregnancy, you may enjoy Halloween candy and colder temperatures, depending on where you live.

“It gets a little cooler as you get really hot because you’re massive. The fresh, cold air is all around you,” she said to set the tone. ‘Suddenly your water breaks. You gave birth to a Scorpio and now you’re on a break. Everyone gathers for Thanksgiving. They see your baby. They do some chores for you.’

Scott estimated that if you have about six weeks of maternity leave, it will get you to Christmas, a time when many people are off work.

“Your partner is probably free at that time. So you get extra help,” she said. “Your baby is one month old. It is vacation. No one will ask you to get them a present. No one will ask you to wrap anything, but people will bring you presents. You are going to eat cookies. You’re going to feel cozy, good.

“Now the baby is growing and you are slowly recovering. By April, May you may have finished breastfeeding. You give it six solid months, and then you have your body back for the summer. One hundred percent for you.’

Scott said you’re starting to recover, and your baby is six months old and not as fussy, which makes traveling easier.

‘They are happy. They are cute. You go places. You get the hang of it and you live happily ever after. And that my queen is science,’ she concluded. “Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.”

“YEP – currently 5 months pregnant with my Scorpio girl and I said this the day I found out,” one viewer agreed.

“Seeing this, 4 months pregnant in June and you couldn’t be more right,” someone else shared.

“We November babies really are the best,” added another.

However, there were also a number of people who strongly disagreed, including those who opposed their child being a Scorpio, one of the more controversial zodiac signs.

“I was pregnant before this period, I don’t recommend it,” one mom told me.

“But can you imagine wearing pants in the third trimester?” Currently 34 weeks and flowy dresses are the only thing that’s comfortable!’ another pointed out.

“With 3 pregnancies, 2 of which were in the summer… I strongly recommend NOT being pregnant in the summer. Start in July or August!’ someone else advised.
