I’m an etiquette expert and here are the 5 actions elegant ladies NEVER do – so, how much are YOU guilty of?
A self-proclaimed elegance expert has shared the five actions classy ladies never do — from wearing clothes that are too small to dressing inappropriately for the occasion.
Antonia Higham, from the UK, regularly posts videos about her TikTok account explain how to look ‘feminine’ and ‘elegant’ in public.
In a recent clip, she explained several actions women should apparently avoid if they want to be considered classy.
These include having hanging loops exposed, wearing clothes that are too small, having undergarments exposed, dressing inappropriately for the occasion, and having chafed shoes.
Viewers were quick to agree, with one writing, “No one should leave elegant individuals alone,” while another added, “I agree with all of these things.”
London based TikToker is known for sharing videos about her life and how to boost your style if you want to look elegant.
Earlier this year, Antonia shared the five nail designs to never choose if you want to avoid looking “tacky” and “cheap.”
She said that “elegant ladies” should always avoid thick French manicures and bright colors, as well as nail art, glitter and long acrylic nails.
Instead, opt for thin French manicures, red nail polish, neutral tones, or short to medium length acrylic nails.
But the nail suggestions struck a chord with some who said her elegant nail suggestions were “not unique or fun.”
In a TikTok now seen by thousands, Antonia shared examples of the styles she believes are the opposite of elegance.

While she opts for thin French manicures, the thicker version is a big no-no. Bright “artificial” colors, such as neon green or hot pink, also scream “cheap” and “tacky,” according to Antonia.
Nail art looks cute and dainty, but the expert claims it doesn’t look elegant enough – nor does glitter or long acrylic paint.
The helpful recommendations resonated with thousands and some shared their favorite nail designs.
“There’s only one I’ll ever do. A thin French line. Very stylish, tasteful and elegant. Absolutely not the others!!’ a woman wrote.
‘Fine French or a light, neutral color. Sometimes in the fall I will splurge on light brown,” said another.
But others strongly disagreed, saying the design recommendations are “boring.” “So elegant ladies are basically old and boring,” one wrote. Another added, “So nothing fun or unique ever got it.”
