MAFS villain Bryce returns to radio after a two-year hiatus and reveals the very unusual job he had after filming the show

Married At First Sight villain Bryce Ruthven is about to expand his career by becoming a presenter on the soon-to-be-launched digital station Disrupt Radio.

The reality star, 33, made the exciting announcement on Instagram on Tuesday, sharing a photo of him posing up a storm in the station’s studio in Melbourne.

“People have said I have a face for radio so why not get back into it… Excited to share that I’ve joined Disrupt Radio,” he began.

‘Can’t wait to get back in the studio and start ‘disrupting’ in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and online around the world in the near future!’

Ruthven has over a decade of experience working for various radio stations across Australia but left the industry earlier in 2021 to work in ‘turf management’.

In that role, he oversaw several golf courses and sports fields in Melbourne to ensure the grass pitch was suitable for playing.

Bryce’s celebrity friends were quick to wish him well with his exciting career move.

“This is cool!!” gushed MAFS veteran Daniel Holmes as The Bachelors’ Felix Van Hofe wrote, “Great job, mate.”

In February, Bryce married his MAFS co-star Melissa Rawson for real, at a beachside wedding in Sorrento, Victoria.

The lovebirds shared a passionate hug after exchanging their vows, with Bryce taking his new bride in his arms.

The couple, who share 16-month-old twin sons Levi and Tate, loved each other and shared a passionate kiss as they bid each other farewell.

The pair fell in love in front of the cameras when they were matched on MAFS in 2021.
