Pregnant Kate Ferdinand displays her blossoming baby bump in black top and matching maxi skirt

She will welcome another bundle of joy with husband Rio Ferdinand in a few weeks.

And heavily pregnant Kate Ferdinand shared a photo of her blossoming baby bump on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.

The former TOWIE star, 32, slipped into a black tank top tucked into a matching black maxi skirt that hugged her stomach.

She added a pair of black flip flops and pulled back her blonde locks into an elegant bun.

Kate went makeup-free in the stunning mirror selfie and explained that she was struggling to cope with the heat wave.

Captioning the photo, she wrote, “Smooth hair, no makeup, the only way in this heat.”

She added, “This skirt and these Zara tops are all I’m wearing right now! Wearing the whole outfit in rotation! No judgments please.”

It comes after Kate revealed her baby is in a breech position as she shared a pregnancy update while performing on Loose Women.

A breech position is when a baby is naturally born butt first or feet first instead of head first. It affects about three to four per cent of pregnancies in the UK.

She explained, “May I tell the truth, the baby has been violated. She kicks me in the ribs and my bladder.’

Kate is also a stepmom to Rio’s children Lorenz, 16, Tate, 14, and Tia, 12 – who he shared with Rebecca Ellison before she died of breast cancer in 2015, aged just 34.

Kate and Rio announced in March that they were having a baby girl.

Speaking to the panel, she said, “We are very outnumbered, Tia prayed she would be a girl.”

Kate added: ‘I’ve enjoyed this more…but I don’t like being pregnant. I haven’t been in so much pain this time and… you don’t think about it because I’m running around after a toddler.”

WHAT IS A PIECE BIRTH?

A breech position is when a baby is naturally born butt first or feet first instead of head first.

It affects about three to four per cent of pregnancies in the UK.

Babies are often in different positions during pregnancy, but will usually be head down by the time they are due to be born.

Delivering the baby backwards is not necessarily dangerous and mothers may be able to do this in certain circumstances.

However, it carries a higher risk of the baby getting stuck in the birth canal or the oxygen supply being cut off due to pressure on the umbilical cord.

Medics may want to try turning the baby — an external cephalic version — which can be done by hand.

Or, if a vaginal delivery is not safe, the mother may be advised to have a caesarean section.

Options are usually discussed if the baby is still in a breech position at the 36th week of pregnancy.

It comes just days after Kate revealed her exact due date in a Q&A on her Instagram account.

Last week Kate was asked, “How long before bubbas is due. Exciting times’, to which she replied: ‘Eight more weeks and the belly is growing fast.’

Alongside the photo, Kate shared a photo of her growing belly in a crop top and sweatpants, proudly showing off her belly.

Elsewhere in the Q&A, Kate revealed that she and Rio have only just worked up the courage to start kissing in front of their kids, six years after getting together.

Kate shared how she and Rio started a no-kissing rule when they were in front of his three children from his late wife Rebecca.

Kate said her entire relationship with Rio was not romantic at first due to the complications of his children from his first marriage.

She shared how she and Rio made sure the kids didn’t mind their early “dates” together by limiting themselves to half-hour visits to the pub.

Speaking about how she and Rio had to be sensitive about their relationship in the beginning because of the kids, Kate said, “We didn’t have the whole honeymoon.

“It went straight out ‘fine, we have kids and if we’re going to make this work, we’re all in on it.’

“So the romance was pretty dead because there’s three kids, they lost their mother, you think about so much, you just want to get it right.”

“I don’t feel like I was there all the time, and when I was there I was fun. And absolutely no kissing. We said this the other day – I said “we don’t kiss that much in front of the kids”.

“I said ‘it’s because we were so conscious in the beginning not to do it, not to worry them or make them uncomfortable, that all of a sudden we went through with that’.”

“So we’re starting to peck a little bit. We go “Oh, give us a kiss – Urgh, disgusting”. But we are now six years later.’

Kate recently showed off her baby bump in a black bikini while cozying up with husband Rio on their family vacation.

She showed off her blossoming belly in a black bikini top and sheer sarong as she enjoyed a day relaxing in the sun.

Rio always looked like the supportive husband as he started kissing her on the forehead and flaunting his shirtless physique in black and white shorts.

Another saw her don a white bralet and gray shorts while wearing a face mask and taking a mirror selfie.

She also posed on the beach in her black bathing suit for a different image while building sandcastles with son Cree.
