Gogglebox Australia star Isabelle Silbery reveals her baby’s gender after discovering a surprise pregnancy
Gogglebox star Isabelle Silbery is expecting her second child with husband Alex Richards.
And the mom-to-be, 36, revealed on Monday that she’s preparing to welcome a baby girl.
“There are three more women on the bench. Mom is so excited I’m having a girl. She used to tell me, “It’s up to you to have another woman in the family,” she said women’s Day.
Isabelle also revealed she was shocked to learn she was pregnant after making an appointment to have a fertility specialist and suffered a miscarriage last year.
‘I was shocked. But I think if you’ve had a miscarriage before, you don’t want to get excited too early, so we just waited and kept ourselves as sane as possible,” she explained.

“We just did the big 3D scans and everything looks great. We are so excited. Especially Alex – he’s always wanted this.’
Isabelle announced she was pregnant by revealing her baby bump and a picture of her ultrasound on Instagram.
‘It’s happening. Just days before our appointment with a fertility specialist, this little one decided the time was right for us and we couldn’t be happier!’
Isabelle married longtime partner Alex in a romantic ceremony in Melbourne last year.
She already shares a son with ex-husband Craig Silbery, whom she divorced in 2017 after five years of marriage.

In 2021, Isabelle suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage. “I was pregnant and then I wasn’t,” she told fans at the time.
“Miscarriage is so hard… and after going through it myself recently and hearing the stories of other women and couples, I realize how common it is.
“I feel like it’s clearly not being talked about openly enough. It’s been a really hard time… the roller coaster of my head becoming a mother again and then suddenly having it taken off me,” she continued.

Isabelle went on to say that she “worked through it” with the support of her friends and a psychologist.
“What has also been a challenge is supporting myself but also [fiancé] Alex as we process our individual losses,” she said.
“We openly shared our happy news with our friends and family early on and we don’t regret it as it has enabled us to be so well supported as we get through this.
“I now understand all the wonderful women who have been through this and my heart goes out to all of you…wherever you are.”
