Home and Away’s Johnny Ruffo enjoys weekend with girlfriend Tahnee Sims amid terminal cancer battle
Johnny Ruffo enjoys the special moments with his longtime girlfriend Tahnee Sims in the midst of his ongoing battle with cancer.
The ex-Home and Away star, 35, who is currently being treated for terminal cancer, attended the Michael Bublé concert over the long weekend.
The actor and singer also treated himself to lunch at the Woodcut restaurant in Crown Sydney.
“The long weekend started well with Buble’s caramel voice and ended with the Bombers playing champagne football,” he captioned an Instagram post.
Several fellow Johnny’s Home and Away players responded to the post.

In March, Johnny started another round of chemotherapy and posted a photo of himself undergoing treatment at the hospital with his girlfriend Tahnee by his side.
The actor put on a brave face, smiled and gave thumbs up while sitting in a chair.
“Back in my favorite chair,” he wrote sarcastically alongside the hashtags #ihatethischair and #f**kcancer.
In December, Johnny marked another year of undergoing chemotherapy and revealed that he was looking forward to taking a break and spending time with family over Christmas.

In August 2022, he confirmed his brain cancer diagnosis was terminal and said he feared how his girlfriend Tahnee would cope with him gone.
“You can only imagine how hard it’s been for her,” he said on The Project.
“What’s on my mind a lot is, I hate saying this, no matter how hard it can be for her if something happens to me.

“So it’s something I don’t want to think about. It just makes me a little emotional because I know something will happen at some point, whether it’s a month from now, 10 years from now, or 20 years from now.”
Johnny told then-host Carrie Bickmore that he had already outlived his life expectancy.
“At some point it will get to me, but I’m still fighting. Still kicking. When I look up my diagnosis and my tumor, the average life expectancy was three years,” he said.

The former X Factor star went on to praise his partner Tahnee, calling her his ‘guardian angel’.
“She’s here with every step I take,” he said. “I’m so incredibly grateful to have her by my side, I don’t know what I would do without her.”
