- KFC fans have been calling for the return of the Tower Burger

Australia’s potato shortage is officially over and KFC is celebrating by bringing back its hash-brown-laden Tower Burger for the first time in two years.
The burger has a cult following in Australia and is always well received by the Colonel’s biggest fans.
KFC Australia told FEMAIL the burger would be back from Tuesday, June 13 to July 10 at participating restaurants across the country.
“Don’t put it too late though, because as always, it’s here for a good time, not a long time,” a spokesman said.
On a more serious note, Sally Spriggs, CMO at KFC Australia, revealed that the burger’s swift return came after passionate requests from fans.

“For all those who have been patiently waiting to get their hands on this delicious burger again, we urge you to come soon as you never know when it will make its next return to Australian shores,” she said.
When the Tower Burger returned in 2021, it had been three long years since its last visit.
The burger, which remains one of the most popular in the restaurant’s rotation, is made with Original Recipe chicken, spicy tomato sauce, cheese, mayo, lettuce, and a crispy hash brown.
The arrival of the Tower Burger marks the end of the potato ball offerings – which fans raved about last month.
It was the first time in 12 years that the restaurant offered the crispy potato dumplings, called “Mashies,” nationwide.
