Kylie Minogue has shared behind-the-scenes footage of herself preparing to take the stage at Capital Official’s Summertime Ball in London on Sunday.

Kylie, 55, took to Instagram and shared a video of her climbing into a glass lift under the stage at Wembley Stadium, wearing a bright red dress, matching opera gloves and perspex goggles.

She wore her hair in loose waves and completed her look with red thigh-high stiletto boots and red lipstick.

The Australian hitmaker, whose latest hit Padam Padam is bursting onto the charts, looked calm and collected as she waited to be transported to the stage.

‘If you’re about to PADAM PADAM on WEMBLEY STAAAAADIUUUM! What a party to surprise you all at Summertime Ball,” she writes with the images.

Padam Padam has been reached recently entered the top ten on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart for the first time.

The catchy song rose from number 12 to number 10 on June 10, according to Billboard.

Kylie first reached the top of the US charts with The Loco-Motion, which peaked at number three in 1988.

She re-entered and peaked at number seven with Can’t Get You Out of My Head in 2002.

The singer has never reached the top ten on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart before, but has made it to the top 20.

In 2021 Real Groove reached number 15, in 2020 Magic reached number 17 and also in 2020 Say Something reached number 18.
