Jennifer Lopez celebrates as The Mother remains in the number one spot on Netflix for the 4th week
Jennifer Lopez had a lot to celebrate on Saturday.
The Hustlers star, 53, took to her Instagram to thank fans as her film The Mother remained number one on Netflix worldwide for a fourth consecutive week.
The On The Floor hitmaker looked casually cool in a black crew neck jumper and a multitude of gold chains as she told fans, “Just wanted to jump on this and thank you so much for watching and supporting.” And I hope you loved it and really enjoyed it.”
The mum-of-two — who recently rocked a 70s-inspired look while running errands — then walked downstairs where she was met by friends as they toasted the movie with drinks.
She also shared in her Instagram caption, “Thank you!!! to everyone who watched #TheMother and helped make it a top 10 movie of all time on @Netflix and #1 worldwide for 4 weeks in a row! Thank you very much for watching.’

Lopez added more bling to her look with gold hoops.
She opted for delicate glamor and wore just a hint of blush on the apples of her cheeks.
The Mother currently ranks eighth on Netflix’s top 10 most watched movies according to Yahoo News. It also ranks sixth on the Top Ten list in the United States this week.
And it previously broke the record for the most-watched film of 2023 upon its debut, racking up an impressive 83.71 million hours of viewing on its opening weekend.
Directed by Niki Caro, The Mother premiered on Netflix on May 12 to mixed reviews from critics.
Jennifer stars in The Mother as the title character, an ex-hitman forced to return to the deadly trade to protect her estranged daughter.
The role is somewhat familiar to the Shotgun Wedding actress. In 2002, she played a terrified mother trying to protect her daughter from her abusive husband in Enough.

Lopez will next star in Unstoppable, which her husband Ben Affleck is producing.
It follows three-time All-American wrestler Anthony Robles, who, despite being born with one leg, won a national championship in the state of Arizona.
William Goldberg – known for his editing work on Ben’s films Argo (2012) and Air (2023) – is leading the project.
Production on the film was halted after two weeks of filming due to Writer’s Guild of America strikes.
Unstoppable is the second feature film from Ben and collaborator Matt Damon at Artists Equity, the independent film production company they launched last year.
The debut film was the sports drama Air, which tells the story of Nike’s iconic partnership with NBA star Michael Jordan.
Jennifer’s role in Unstoppable is currently unknown and a release date has yet to be revealed.
She was first seen in character on the film’s set in May in Los Angeles.
The actress had a large fake tattoo of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on her upper right arm – reminiscent of the very real cross tattoo on husband Ben’s right arm.

While it’s unclear if Ben will star opposite his new wife, the pair have worked together in the past.
They met on the set of the 2003 rom-com Gigli, which bombed at the box office.
Jennifer and Ben – dubbed ‘Bennifer’ by the press – got engaged that year, but their relationship ended in January 2004.
So fans were delighted when the pair rekindled their romance in 2021 after 17 years apart.
They married in a Las Vegas wedding chapel last year before holding a lavish ceremony at Ben’s Georgia estate in August.
