Alison Hammond had to apologize to This Morning viewers this week after an awkward social media blunder.
Friday’s presenter, 48, who ran the show alongside Dermot O’Leary, 50, following Phillip Schofield’s abdication, revealed she had blocked dozens of unsuspecting fans.
Alison apologized after her co-host announced Matthew Wright and Nick Ferrari, who as “GOAT guests” would help them sift through the headlines of the day.
The phrase which is slang for ‘Greatest Of All Time’ left Alison baffled before its meaning was explained.
The former Big Brother star admitted that she had seen the phrase on social media, but rather thought it was an acronym for something offensive.

It comes after Holly Willoughby seemingly hit back at Eamonn Holmes’ claims that her friendship with Alison was fake.
Eamonn, 63, had accused Holly, 42, of using Athe GBBo host and said their friendship would never have happened two years ago as the ladies put up a united front in the wake of the recent scandal.
Holly hosted the ITV daytime show alongside Craig Doyle on Wednesday, when he took over from Josie Gibson, 38, who co-hosted Monday and Tuesday.
Josie appeared on the show in a link filmed by the Kennet and Avon channel.
She said, ‘Stay with us for the next few days because I’m going on my own canal boat adventure and tomorrow is Best Friends Day so my friends better be ready! There’s a tour boat waiting for you…”
Holly replied, ‘Ah, enjoy! Think of all the friends who went on the channel with her. The canals are about to get even more dangerous, Craig!’

Josie replied, “Well, I’ve been trying to round them up, but Alison can’t make it, obviously Holly’s in the studio, so I’ve got one or two.”

Her words came after Eamonn cclaimed that Holly ‘used’ Alison while insisting that their unexpected friendship “would never have happened two years ago.”
