British tourist, 27, dies after scooter crash into palm tree in Turkey: Devastated friends reveal matching tattoos to honor ‘legend’

Tributes have poured in for a British tourist who died after colliding with a palm tree on a scooter in Turkey during what was reportedly his ‘first holiday abroad’.
Kyle Barrow, affectionately referred to as Keezy, died after losing control of his bicycle in Manavgat, Antalya Province, on Turkey’s southern coast.
The 27-year-old man from Manchester was reportedly on his way from the seaside town of Side to Kumkoy, some 50 kilometers away.
Photos show the scooter lying next to the palm tree after the crash on Side Suleyman Demirel Boulevard.
Doctors were called to the scene and Kyle was rushed to hospital by ambulance, where he later died. His heartbroken best friend claimed that Kyle passed away in his arms on Wednesday.
Friends described him as a “legend,” “one in a million,” and “the backbone of any group, the man who brought us all together,” as they unveiled touching tattoo tributes commemorating Kyle’s life.

Cal Junior and other friends Kyle vacationed with remembered the young man with the dates of his birth and untimely death.
Cal asked friends and loved ones for support on GoFundMe in helping Kyle return home to Oldham, and shared a heartfelt tribute to his late friend on Facebook.
“It is with the heaviest heart imaginable that I must tell you that Kyle was in an accident this afternoon and sadly his life was lost.
“We’re in Turkey and I’m doing my best to understand what to do next, but I’ll keep everyone updated when I can.
The tourist reportedly lost control of the vehicle as it crossed an intersection on the boulevard
“RIP my best friend for life, died in my arms… gone too soon… we’ll meet again one day, boo boo… the memories will last forever.”
Another friend, Tay Nolan, shared his devastation at Kyle’s death: “Absolutely no words… my heart hurts so much, just as I know it does for everyone else.
“Love and support to everyone affected by this right now, family, friends and loved ones and especially Cal Junior.
“Keezy, you were a friend in a million… I loved every minute of knowing you, always made me laugh, even when you took the p*** out of me, I’ll never forget you.” .. rest in peace .’
Kyle reportedly lost control of the vehicle as it crossed a boulevard intersection and hit the palm tree, which was on a median strip separating both sides of the avenue.
Side is a popular tourist destination on the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey.
An FCDO spokesman said: “We are helping the family of the British man who died in Turkey and are in contact with the local authorities.”
