Sunrise star Melissa Doyle, 53, looks half her age at Kochie’s farewell lunch

She ages backwards! Former Sunrise host Melissa Doyle, 53, looks incredibly youthful as she steps out to David Koch’s farewell luncheon in Sydney

Melissa Doyle looked incredibly youthful on Friday as she went to lunch with David “Kochie” Koch, Natalie Barr and Larry Emdur.

The former Sunrise host, 53, said his last goodbye to ex-co-host Kochie, 67, after filming his last day on the breakfast show set.

Dressed in a striking red top with extravagant feathered cuffs, Melissa looked half her age with long golden locks framing her flawless complexion.

She elevated her cheerful appearance with a long black skirt and shiny black pumps while clutching a designer bag between her hands.

Accessorizing with a set of silver hoop earrings, the TV presenter put on some red lipstick before letting her natural beauty shine with a dewy base.

Kochie – who co-hosted Sunrise with Melissa from 2002 to 2013 – ended his last day on Friday morning when 55-year-old Natalie cried uncontrollably on live television.

Her old friend and colleague walked through a guard of honor made up of crew members, producers and fellow presenters at Channel Seven before breaking the news together for the last time.

Natalie struggled to hold back tears as she said goodbye to one of her “best friends” with a heartfelt tribute, telling her co-anchor that he had taught her so much.

“I’ve been with Channel Seven for 28 years, and 20 of those years I spent at the same desk as you, at the Sunrise desk,” she said, immediately bursting into tears.

She continued: “In a world that tells us every day how to act and what to say, you have shown Australia the importance of being yourself.”

Kochie pulled his tearful co-presenter into a tight hug as his visibly emotional wife, Libby, and fellow presenters applauded the heartfelt farewell.
