Trump turned Pavarotti into Bedminster 90 minutes after discovering he has federal charges against him

Donald Trump turned DJ and played his favorite songs from Pavarotti to James Brown just 90 minutes after discovering he was facing a landmark federal indictment that could lead him to 100 years in prison.

Last night, the former president said he was charged with espionage and seven charges related to mishandling classified documents.

After making a roaring statement on Truth Social where he declared “I AM AN INNOCENT MAN,” Trump seemed to calm his nerves by dining at his Bedminster Golf Club in New Jersey, before boogieing the night away.

It is not the first time that the 76-year-old has issued an attack in the face of criminal charges. After first facing charges in April when he was accused of paying hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels, Trump threw a bash at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Following his indictment last night, former President Donald Trump reportedly DJed all night, shooting Pavarotti and James Brown at his golf resort in Bedminster

Shortly after being charged with the crime earlier this year, he jetted off to his home in West Palm Beach before partying with friends and family, taking on music responsibilities and blaring his campaign headline “Macho Man” from the Village People.

Trump previously claimed he “always had a great aptitude for music” and often DJs for his guests at the Florida resort. “People love it when I do it,” he told the Full Send Podcast.

Trump’s most recent indictment – which he called a prosecution – marks the first time in US history that a former president has faced federal charges.

ABC News reported that the 76-year-old faces four separate counts, all of which carry a potential prison sentence of up to 20 years.

These include: conspiracy to obstruct justice; withholding any document or record; corruptly concealing any document or record; and hiding a document in a federal investigation.

One count carries a 10-year prison sentence: deliberately withholding national defense information.

And the last two counts each have a maximum of five years: plan to conceal and misrepresentations and misrepresentations. Trump’s indictment remains classified, but his decision to make it public means the FBI could open it as early as Friday, ahead of next Tuesday’s Miami court hearing.

The latest indictments mark another setback for the 2024 presidential candidate, who plans to retake control of the White House.

Even his 2024 Republican rival Rob DeSantis was outraged by the new charges, calling it a “moral threat to a free society”

The news sparked outrage from the Republican party yesterday, with even his 2024 rival Ron DeSantis declaring that the “arming of federal law enforcement poses a mortal threat to a free society.”

DeSantis declined to say whether he would pardon his rival if Trump were convicted, despite calls for Florida’s governor to commit.

Following his indictment, Trump released a video, which The New York Times claimed was pre-recorded, saying it was a political persecution, insisting he was innocent.

He posted a lengthy statement on his social media account Truth Social, which he founded in 2022 after being banned from Twitter.

“The corrupt Biden administration has informed my lawyers that I have been charged, apparently because of the Boxes Hoax, even though Joe Biden has 1,850 Boxes at the University of Delaware, additional Boxes in Chinatown, D.C., and more Boxes at the University of Pennsylvania, and documents scattered across his garage floor where he parks his Corvette, which is “secured” by only a garage door that is paper thin and open most of the time,” Trump wrote.

“I have been subpoenaed to appear at the Federal Courthouse in Miami at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday. I never imagined that something like this could happen to a former president of the United States, who has received far more votes than any sitting president in the history of our country, and currently leads the vast majority of candidates, both Democrat and the president. Republican, in 2024 presidential election polls. I’M AN INNOCENT MAN!’

Later Thursday night, he said in a video: “Unfortunately we are a nation in decline and yet they are going after a very popular president,” Trump said.

“I’m an innocent man, I’ve done nothing wrong,” he continued, promising to “fight this out.”

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Trump also said he would “of course” plead not guilty.

Prosecutors have said the former president brought about 300 classified documents to Mar-a-Lago after leaving the White House, including about 100 seized by the FBI in August during a search that revealed the seriousness of the investigation of the Ministry of Justice underlined.

Trump insisted he had the right to keep the classified documents when he left the White House and has claimed without evidence that he released them.

Trump and his team have long seen the special counsel’s investigation as far more dangerous than the New York issue — both politically and legally.

It remains unclear what the immediate and long-term political consequences will be for the former leader.

His first indictment sparked millions of dollars in contributions from angry supporters and failed to damage Trump in the polls as the 2024 presidential race heats up.

The former president’s legal troubles extend beyond the New York indictment and classified documents case. The special prosecutor has a separate investigation into attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, while the Fulton County District Attorney in Georgia is investigating Trump over alleged attempts to undermine that state’s 2020 election .

Trump will appear in court on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Miami, where the most recent charges against him will be filed. Security around the courthouse has already been increased before he appears in court.

He has already been charged in New York and faces additional investigations in Washington and Atlanta that could lead to criminal charges.
