Series 6 of Black Mirror is upon us, with new episodes of the Netflix show airing next week.

The star-studded cast will include Aaron Paul, Annie Murphy and Rob Delaney as the hit drama makes its highly anticipated return.

But which other actors will appear in the sixth episode of Black Mirror? What is the full cast for the upcoming series?

Aaron Paul

Paul’s exact character details have not yet been confirmed, but he will appear in the episode titled “Beyond the Sea,” possibly serving as one of “two men on a dangerous high-tech mission” in alternate 1969, where his character suffers the consequences of an unimaginable tragedy.

Paul is best known for his portrayal of Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad. which previously earned him an Emmy Award reprising the role in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie and the spin-off series Better Call Saul.

The trailer suggests that he will play the role of an American astronaut.

Anjana Vasan as Nida

Nida played a major role in the Season 6 teaser, which has shown viewers working in a shoe department, while showing signs of sadness and fear.

She can be seen serenely from the dressing rooms before shockingly slamming a colleague’s head against a display case.

She will star in the episode Demon 79, which takes place in Northern England in 1979 and sees Vasan playing as a “meek sales assistant” who is told to commit terrible deeds to avoid disaster.

Annie Murphy as Joan

Murphy will star in the episode Joan Is Awful, playing the role of an “average woman” who discovers that a global streaming platform has launched a series adaptation of her life.

The teaser trailer appears to portray Murphy’s character as a successful and important businesswoman. She receives an “I miss you” text that sends her into a panic, resulting in a wedding in a cheerleader’s uniform.

The Canadian actress is best known to audiences for being “a little Alexis” in her Emmy Award-winning role as Alexis Rose in Schitt’s Creek.

It’s not immediately clear how Thornton’s character fits into the proceedings for Black Mirror’s sixth season, but – due to the dramatic nature of the show – the happy life he appears to be leading in the trailer could take a turn for the worse.

Thornton stars alongside Hartnett and Paul in the Beyond the Sea episode.

Clara Rugaard as Mazey

Mazey has been described as a “troubled starlet” who must contend with pushy paparazzi and a hit-and-run incident, while isolated from other on-screen characters.

The teaser shows viewers that her windshield wiper contains a smiley face identical to the one on the window in Zazie Beetz’s camera lens, the dial also appears on a dial in the Season 6 trailer.

Josh Hartnett as David

Josh Hartnett’s character David appears to be the partner of Auden Thornton’s character and serves as the other astronaut on the mission with Cliff, who also has family back on Earth.

Harnett will also star in the same episode as Paul, likely as one of the men on this “dangerous high-tech mission” that seems to affect both of them.

Kate Mara

Mara’s character seems to live a lonely existence in a cabin in the woods.

Her character will play a central role in the Beyond the Sea episode. set in 1969.

Myha’la Herrold as Pia

The climax of the trailer for Herrold’s character comes when she remarks to Blenkin that she loves her surroundings, despite appearing to be on a deserted piece of land.

We know that Herrold will star in the Loch Henry episode, most likely as part of the young documentary-making couple who are instead drawn to a juicy local story.

Daddy Essiedu

The involvement of Essiedu’s character is kept rather clandestine from viewers. All that is revealed is that he wears a fabulous 1960s costume while maintaining an outgoing and friendly nature.

He has been confirmed to have a role in the Demon 79 episode of the upcoming series, meaning he could be heavily involved in the development of Vasan’s character.

However, the couple seems to be portrayed as “drawn to a juicy local story about shocking events from the past.”

Zazie Beetz

The fact that Beetz’s character is depicted using dial-up internet shows that she is in the past, before being seen later, possibly using her wide-lens camera to capture something sinister.

She stars in the Mazey Day episode, where “a troubled starlet is pursued by pushy paparazzi while dealing with the fallout from a hit-and-run incident.”

Beetz elaborated on her role, saying, “I wouldn’t say my character has a lot of fun. But I think there’s a very big ironic dark element to it, a kind of premonition. The mirror that reflects back on us.’
