A British woman saved her family more than £600 on a half-year holiday to Center Parcs by going to one in Europe instead of Britain.
Rebecca Kellett, 36, traveled with her family from Huddersfield, Yorkshire, to De Vossemeren in Belgium and still saved £635 – including travel costs – on the holiday.
The travel blogger and business manager drove – via the Eurotunnel – to Belgium with her partner JP, 42, and his two children, where they enjoyed their holiday.
Rebecca paid £445 for a week at Center Parcs in De Vossemeren and claims the same week at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest in Nottingham cost £1699 – almost four times that.
Including the cost of petrol and the Eurotunnel, £150 and £220 respectively, as well as £249 for three nights in a hotel to break up the journey, Rebecca claims the family still saved £635.

Rebecca also praised the reduced prices of activities at Center Parcs in De Vossemeren.
She said the aerial adventure at Belgium’s Center Parcs cost £19, compared to £49 at the Sherwood Forest site.
Rebecca told her followers in a video: “For the same week in the UK it was £1700, but for this week in Belgium it was 519 euros which is about £445.
‘The Eurotunnel cost £220, we spent about £150 on fuel. We’ve added about three nights in hotels to break up the trip, which you don’t have to.
‘Even with all that thrown in, it was still £635 cheaper than in the UK. Not to mention that the activities here are so much cheaper, like much cheaper.
‘Be sure to consider Center Parcs Europe for your next holiday on holiday.’
Rebecca spent a week at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest over the Christmas period and spent nearly £900.
Knowing the kids were having a great time, she was inspired to go again when the weather warmed up.
Rebecca said: ‘It was out of principle that we didn’t spend £1700 on the trip. I prefer quantity over quality and would rather spend 10 nights in a half decent hotel than less in a nice hotel.

‘I did some research on Center Parcs EU and saw that the French version had the De Vossemeren site.’
Rebecca said the activities the children could do on the Belgian site were a huge factor in their decision making, on top of the price savings.
Rebecca added: ‘The cabins were exactly the same in Belgium as in the UK. You could tell they were part of the same company.’
Known for her cost-cutting holidays, Rebecca has gone viral in the past for her solo trips on a budget, with £15 return flights to Portugal and £11 flights to Italy.
