Rapper Blueface is arrested IN COURT and ‘taken into police custody’ for alleged Las Vegas robbery

American rapper Blueface has been arrested by the court and taken into police custody for his alleged involvement in a robbery in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

During a preliminary hearing for his attempted murder charge, the 26-year-old Holy Moly hitmaker was ‘taken into police custody’ and ‘charged with a felony’, according to TMZ.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department released the following statement: “At approximately 2:40 p.m. on November 15, 2022, LVMPD detectives arrested 25-year-old Johnathan Porter on charges of a shooting that occurred on October 8, 2022 in the 6300 block of Windy Road. ‘

The statement added that Porter would also be booked at the Clark County Detention Center under warrants for attempted murder with a deadly weapon and firing a firearm at/into an occupied structure.

Blueface scored his most successful single with a remix of his song Thotiana featuring Cardi B and YG which peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Blueface was born in Los Angeles and played football for Arleta High School in the San Fernando Valley.

He started rapping in January 2017 under the stage name Blueface Bleedem, a reference to his ties to the street gang School Yard Crips.

Blueface was previously arrested in California in November 2018 and charged with shooting at an occupied vehicle after shooting at a gas station robber. He was also arrested for gun possession in February 2019, after law enforcement officers recovered a loaded, unregistered gun in his possession.
