Good Omens season 2 has a missing angel crash Aziraphale and Crowley’s domestic bliss

Finally, we finally have a trailer for it Good omens season 2 – which means we finally know a little more about what the heck it’s about. Author Neil Gaiman and director Douglas Mackinnon have been pretty goofy about the details, to the point where we even got the opening scene before we got the trailer. But there is one thing they have said: there are some love stories in it.

And now that Crowley and Aziraphale are enjoying their time on Earth together, without the burden of preventing the apocalypse from occurring, they’ve been able to relax a bit (and maybe live together?!). That is, until they find out: The Archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) is missing!

The angels in heaven suspect foul play, but the demons in hell also have no idea what happened. Turns out he’s hiding in Aziraphale’s bookstore – and has no memory of who he is. Aziraphale and Crowley must work together to find out what’s going on, while also hiding what they’re doing from their superiors.

The trailer Also features some long, lingering glances between the two – as they deserve!

Gaiman and Mackinnon previously revealed at New York Comic Con some details on new characters joining angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and demon Crowley (David Tennant), such as Muriel (Quelin Sepulveda), a gullible but well-meaning angel visiting Earth for the first time, and Maggie and Nina, two SoHo entrepreneurs who have shops near the iconic Aziraphale second-hand bookstore. Those two are played by Maggie Service and Nina Sosanya (each playing exactly who you think), who played two nuns in the first season.

The first season of Good omens faithful adaptation of the 1990 novel by Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. But the second wades into uncharted (and as yet unwritten) territory, drawing from the hypothetical sequel that Gaiman and Pratchett never got around to writing.

Good omens Season 2 will be released on Amazon Prime Video on July 28. It will be six episodes.
